What an awesome game it was. Who'd ever consider either of these two players, based on the bowls they played, as Novices.

And history has been made. Since the inception of the OPEN NOVICE SINGLES never before has a female player made the FINAL yet alone become the NOVICE SINGLES CHAMPION.

The winners of each section play tomorrow in the Quarter Finals (commencing approx 9am), followed by semi final then the FINAL. It'll be a big day of bowls at Darra Cementco Bowls Club.

Over 60's Men's and Ladies Call-Out Notices have been issued to all CDBA Clubs.

Games are played at the Gold Coast this year on Sunday 21 June (date change) at a Club yet to be determined. ENTRIES CLOSE 8 June (extended)

The men had a strong win against the Fraser Coast in the final game of the Championships.

To say we are proud of the teams effort overall is a massive understatement.
Each and every player was committed to “team” and this attitude was reflected in the outstanding result of running 2nd in the whole event.
We will continue to build and work with the view of doing one better next year.

Thank you to Algester Sports Club for allowing the group to train there every week since the team was selected.
