Adelaide loved her classes this week at the Academy of the Queensland Ballet. 🩰

Adelaide was awarded this as a scholarship in recognition of her hard work in the January season of Alice in Wonderland with BTQ. 🐇

Adelaide has also been awarded a scholarship for the next BTQ season in recognition of her dedication, resilience, humility, respect for others and a genuine love of their art, from the July season of Snow White. 🍎

Well done Addie and we are so thrilled that your dedication to your dance journey has been rewarded in these scholarships. 👏 💕 🍍

A huge congratulations to Scarlett, Eli, Josiah, Indigo and Charlotte, along with past Premier student Caitlin, on their performances in Brisbane Junior Theatre’s production of Matilda. 🎭✨

We love seeing our students take opportunities like this and share their passion for performing on stage. It has been so special to watch you all be part of this incredible production.

A huge congratulations to Dimity, Ellie, Adelaide, Ysabella and Hugo, who have been performing in a youth ballet company production of Snow White, and to Savannah, who has been part of the choir. ✨🍎

What an incredible experience to be involved in such a special production. We know just how much time, commitment and hard work goes into opportunities like these, and it has been wonderful to see you all shine on stage.

It was also so lovely to see many of our Premier families in the audience supporting the cast over the weekend. 💜

The production now heads to QPAC this week, and we can’t wait to see you all continue to light up the stage🌟🩰

💜A NEW FUNDRAISING RECORD — $54,650 RAISED! 🩷

We are beyond excited to announce that together, our Premier Dance and Sayers Dance communities have raised an incredible $54,650 through our 2026 Day of Dance.

Not only is this an extraordinary result, but it has officially broken our previous fundraising record of $40,000, set just last year.

To say we are proud would be an understatement.

Behind every dollar raised is a community of people who chose to get involved.

Our students performed beautifully on the day. Families supported the event through ticket purchases, raffle entries, roses and donations. Parent volunteers and staff generously gave their time and energy both in the lead up to the event and throughout the weekend.

Our sponsors and local businesses went above and beyond, generously donating prizes, services, funding and support to help make this incredible result possible.

This achievement belongs to all of you, and we are incredibly grateful for the role each and every person played in making it possible.

For more than two decades, Day of Dance has been about coming together through our shared love of dance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

This year, every dollar raised will once again be split evenly between Mater Little Miracles and the Queensland Brain Institute (UQ), supporting life-changing care, groundbreaking research and hope for Queensland families.

And the impact doesn’t stop there. Tomorrow, on Mater Giving Day, we will be making our donation to Mater, where it will be tripled by their generous Giving Day partners, allowing our community’s contribution to make an even greater difference.
