Come on… enough complaining about the rain. Time to get out there.
And by “out there”, we mean BSC to dust some clays.
Yes — DUST. Not “mud some clays.” Dust. There’s no rain forecast for Friday or Saturday, so your excuses have officially expired. The sun will finally be shining through and it's time for some vitamin D ... D for dust that is.
(Don't forget to change your target card over to the new system when you're there.)

It’s National Volunteer Appreciation Week! 🤗
And boy, do we at BSC appreciate our volunteers. Without you, this club simply would not operate — literally, factually and undeniably.
To everyone who gives their time to help our club thrive: thank you.
If you have volunteered as a come-and-try coach in the past 6 months, please see Daniel at the counter to collect a small gift from us. We truly appreciate everything you do.
What do our volunteers help with?
• Come and Try coaching
• Grounds maintenance
• Trap setting
• Trap filling
• Trap maintenance
• Clubhouse maintenance
• Working the clubhouse counter
• Committee roles
• Emptying bins
• …and pretty much EVERYTHING else!
Anything you see happening at the club is made possible by volunteers. So much of the work happens behind the scenes, often unnoticed, but it is absolutely essential for the running of the club.
We are a volunteer-run association, and we simply could not do it without you. Thank you to each and every volunteer who helps make this club what it is.
If you are interested in volunteering, we are always on the lookout. Contact us on [email protected] to find out what you can do to help us.

Improvements at BSC! 🎯
We’re upgrading our target card system and PHASING OUT OLD CARDS.
What does this mean for you?
From this Friday, simply bring your existing target card to the BSC clubhouse and we’ll swap it over to a new BSC target card with all your current target credits transferred across.
BSC Members: We already have your details on file — just bring in your current card and we’ll handle the swap.
Non-Members: You’ll just need to provide some basic details when swapping your card over so we can transfer your existing credits.
Lose your new card?
No problem — come into the clubhouse and we can issue you a replacement card with your remaining credits transferred across.
BSC will be covering the cost of the initial card transfer.
We will have additional staff on this weekend to assist with the transition. Please be patient of any delays.
Cut off for card transfer is our next scheduled shoot, June 14. After that BSC won’t be able to transfer existing target credits as the old system is being decommissioned.
If you can't get to the club by 14 June, post you old card to us by that date, providing your full name, phone number and email address and we will have a card ready for when you next visit. Post details are: Brisbane Sporting Clays, PO Box 5488, Alexandra Hills. Qld. 4161. Bring photo ID when you pick the card up.
