Our first Teunga Workshop ✅

So proud of all our parents who came along and gave it a go.

We are grateful for the opportunity to share the ancestral knowledge and skills passed down to us by our elders, helping preserve and carry these traditions forward for future generations.

Thank you for joining us, we can’t wait for the next one!

Not only passing on song and dance, but everything that comes with it.

Most of our students’ teunga were made by their own parents and families. Many had never made a fakahaʻapai or vesa before, but were willing to learn (eye rolls and all 🤣).

More than just teunga, our students wore the ʻofa and knowledge of their ancestors; knowledge that can now be passed on for generations to come. We are excited for our new families to learn. Sharing i

Emails will be sent out soon. Stay tuned.

2026 SZN THEME 🇹🇴

“Fola e Haka, Fakaake e Manatu: Ko e Fononga Ki He Tu’u’anga”

Unfold the movement, awaken the memory: The journey to our standing place.

This year we focus on our Tu’u’anga; our standing place. A reminder that every haka and every song awakens the memory of the fonua our ancestors once stood on.

To know your Tu’u’anga is to know who you are, where you come from, and where you’re going. No matter where we journey, our Tu’u’anga remains beneath us, grounding us in our fonua: our land, culture, and people.

We can’t wait to bring this vision to life.

Mālō ‘aupito .hekakala guiding wisdom in helping to shape the words behind this vision.

Spaces are limited this year. Register now before spots are filled.
