Summer racing is back at QCYC!

Sailing Chair Jack Morrison gives us a quick rundown on what’s coming up this September, starting this weekend with the Careel Worlds, followed by the 75th Bribie Cup on 12 September and the 51st Vintage Yacht Regatta from 18–20 September.

For spectators, book in for breakfast and watch the marina come to life as crews prepare to head out, or join us later in the afternoon for a drink at the bar as the boats return.

For sailors, entries are still open for the Bribie Cup and Vintage Yacht Regatta.

Thanks to Northside Marine for its ongoing support of QCYC racing and Husk Rum, major sponsor of the Vintage Yacht Regatta.

Sometimes the weather has other plans.

Due to the weather forecast, this weekend's 51st Vintage Yacht Regatta has been postponed.

We'll announce a new date for the Regatta as soon as it's confirmed.

The Club will still be open as usual this weekend, and we look forward to welcoming competitors, members and visitors for a meal or a drink by the marina.

Thank you to the competitors who were planning to join us this weekend. We look forward to welcoming the fleet back to QCYC soon.

The Gaffers are back! The Queensland Cruising Yacht Club Vintage Yacht Regatta returns from 17 to 19 July, bringing together owners, crews and classic and vintage yachts for a weekend on Moreton Bay.

There's nothing quite like seeing these beautiful old boats under sail. Whether you're entering the regatta, bringing your boat along to join the display, or simply coming down to enjoy the atmosphere, we'd love to welcome you to QCYC.

Proudly supported by Husk Farm Distillery and Northside Marine.

Join us Saturday night at QCYC for the Vintage Yacht Regatta social evening.

You don’t have to be racing to enjoy the festivities. Come down to the Club for a relaxed night of live folk music from The Fo’c’sle, a spirited maritime band bringing sea shanties and traditional folk tunes to life with accordion, acoustic guitar and good humour.

Whether you’re a sailor, supporter or just after a great night out, everyone’s welcome.
