Wishing our Townsville Chiefs MRLC a safe trip back to north QLD. Been a blast hanging with the OG Chiefs Masters. Some great games and greater laughs. Looking forward to many more Chiefs reunions.

Thank you Townsville Chiefs MRLC for inviting Wacol Chiefs MRLC along to meet Eden and the Fechy’s Angels. A truly humbling day. I struggled to hold back my tears toward the end.

I am in awe of the effort our northern Chiefs put into the community. Your words and your works here are inspiring and a reminder to us all to check on our mates 💙🤍❤️ and that we Chiefs have a platform here where we can do much more for those in our community who just need that helping hand.

The team's day started with a brief coffee meeting with Dylan Andrews, local legend former MMA fighter and director of DTV Academy Labrador. The conversation mean as, and the coffee and breakfast at Scout Coffee was on.

Warm day in the GC. Gotta stay hydrated!

We concluded our weekend with a friendly competition against teams from West Moreton and Brisbane Youth Detention Centres. A round-robin netball match among our three teams resulted in WMYDC scoring 22 goals, while BYDC and WC each scored 16 goals. Moving on to touch, the setting sun brought a welcome change in temperature to the touch field. And it was WMYDC who achieved a poetic victory over our Mighty Chiefs. Congratulations WMYDC on the 2 wins.

We appreciate everyone involved in organizing this event, and for our players who gave their time to play for our Chiefs club. It was an enjoyable day for all supporters.

We extend our gratitude to Western Districts Netball Association for providing two junior netball umpires. Their professionalism ensured a smooth netball match.

Looking ahead, Wacol Chiefs will join their brother club, Townsville Chiefs, at the Gold Coast Masters on March 5th and 6th, 2026 in Runaway Bay, Gold Coast. Please mark your calendars and join us for a great day with your Chiefs family.
