Where are you holding tension in your body?
Stress and tension shows up for everyone differently...
Perhaps:
- poor sleep
- disrupted concentration
- jumping from one thought to the other
- fatigue
- gripping hands
- grinding teeth
Meditation and pause and stillness invites quiet in to listen in to where you are at.
Something that helps is grounding. Walking barefoot. Outdoors. Or when schedules are crazy, I'll simply sit and notice my breath. Sounds simple. Before you start your day, take time to ground your energy or on your lunchbreak/evening...whenever you need.
This helps me to settle and remind my body "I am grounded, calm, safe." which in turn slows my breathing and helps to think clearer.
When life get hectic, the trick for me and what I share with peeps who land in my yoga class is not to go faster, it's to stay grounded.

“Yoga is not about self-improvement. It’s about self-acceptance.” – Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa
Self-acceptance as you/we experience the highs and lows of life, ageing, grief, sorrow, joy, love, acknowledging that life has a rhythm and we all evolve with different seasons internally, as much as there is a natural rhythm externally.
More acceptance. More flow. Less resistance.

This is for you if you’re mentally exhausted.
If your mind feels like it’s always running, even when your body is still, this is for you.
Not a flexibility class or performance class. Not another thing to “get right.”
This is a space to slow your nervous system down and actually feel your body again.
🧘♀️ Intro to Yoga for Busy Folks with Busy Minds is a gentle reset for overstimulated humans with busy minds
✨ Perfect for folks who:
• feel mentally “on” all the time
• struggle to switch off
• want calm, not intensity
• don’t know where to start with yoga

If your body is tense, read this.
Your body doesn’t need more pushing.
It needs permission to soften.
If you’ve been living with:
- tight shoulders
- shallow breathing
- mental overload
- constant “doing mode”
This is your reset point.

Why don’t most people stick with yoga?
I am asked some peeps and they said they stopped because:
it feels too fast
it feels too advanced
it feels like another thing to perform at
they don't feel like they can touch their toes
their minds are busy
So they quietly leave...
This workshop I have coming up is the opposite of that.
We slow it down. We make it simple. We focus on nervous system regulation first.
🧘♀️ Slow down and reset workshop coming up is beginner friendly. We will go through breathwork, movement and flows you can practice at home.

Some days, it’s not about “fixing” your week…
It’s about slowing down enough to notice you exist.
Yoga can help with that. Meditation, gentle movement, connection with others...help yourself breathe deeper and have quality sleep.
Incorporate:
- Pause
- Notice your surroundings
- Bring awareness to the weight of your feet
- How does your breath move through you?
Awareness away from your yoga mat and meditation space is when your yoga journey begins.

You may be right ✅️ I may be crazy 🤪 doing hyrox after heartbreak, car accident, car write off, anxiety hitting, no tansport (still no car).. But this is a reminder you can do hard things in life. Mentally, physically and emotionally.
It's not a bad life and things will improve in time. You're allowed to feel grief and sadness, you are not weak, lack faith, naive, emotional, mentally unstable. I'll die on a hill saying its ok to feel your grief and sadness. So many people want to bypass this feeling/ experience and ignore reality. I'm not saying drown in it, but to acknowledge and feel it, get support when you need and in time, sadness will pass.
💙 You can do hard things.
💙 this is a reminder to acknowledge hardship and grieve when life doesn't go your way and feel how you feel when s**t hits the fan. It's a natural and human response. You're not weird or ungrateful or a bad person to feel disappointed.
💙 this is also a reminder to count and celebrate the good things in life. There is plenty good in the world.
💙 you are beautiful and deserve joy and peace.
🌎 when I had the car accident, so many strangers came to help me and lots of help around. 🙏🏽
