What a great night to be an Aspley Devil! π₯π΄
Despite the rain, more than 70 of our U9 and U10 boys and girls turned up with huge smiles on their faces for a special Broncos Legends training night.
A massive thank you to Broncos legends Michael Hancock, Michael Devere, Jharal Yow Yeh, Scott Prince, Julia Robinson and Jack Reed who gave up their time to run games, share stories, encourage the kids and make memories that these young footballers will remember for a long time.
The best part wasnβt the footy skills on display β it was seeing kids laughing, making new mates, challenging themselves and having a blast alongside some of their heroes (and parents heroes). Community sport at its best.
A huge thank you also to the Play Rugby League South East QLD team for supporting nights like this and helping create opportunities that inspire the next generation of rugby league players.
And of course, none of this happens without the incredible support of the Aspley Leagues Club. Their ongoing commitment to our club and our community allows us to create experiences like this for our players and families year after year.
To all of our kids who braved the rain, our coaches who helped coordinate the night, and the mums, dads, grandparents and carers standing on the sidelines getting soaked β thank you. You are what makes this club special.
If you snapped a photo with one of the Broncos legends tonight, throw it in the comments below! Weβd love to see them all. πΈπ
