Day 3 ✅ Melbourne complete.

An incredible few days at the Diamond League Tournament.

🏆 Our U9s were crowned Europa Division Champions.
💪 Our U10s finished 6th in the Premier Division, competing against some of the strongest teams in the country.

We’re incredibly proud of every player. The results are rewarding, but what makes us even prouder is the courage, attitude, and football our teams showed throughout the tournament.

We stay humble. We stay grounded. Back to work.

This week we head to Sydney with our U7s for the Nick Rizzo Invitational, while training is already back underway as we prepare for a massive second half of the year.

⚽ EJL kicks off on Saturday 25 July.
🇪🇸 Preparations have also begun for Surf Cup International in Salou, Spain.

Day 1 & Day 2 complete at the Diamond League in Melbourne! 💙💛⚽

What an incredible experience for our players against some fantastic opposition.

Our U10s finished the group stage undefeated on Day 1 to qualify for the Premier Division, continuing to challenge themselves against the highest level of competition.

Our U9s narrowly missed out on the Championship Division by goal difference but responded brilliantly, qualifying for the Europa Division. Their determination and teamwork have been outstanding, and we’re proud to announce they’ve progressed to tomorrow’s semifinals!

This tournament has been about much more than results. Every match has provided valuable lessons, helping our players grow in confidence, decision-making, and resilience. The future is looking incredibly exciting for these young footballers.

A huge thank you to all the parents for their amazing support and to every player for representing Coach Max Football Academy with pride, passion, and respect.

U10s BLUE | Academy Cup 2026

Another valuable step forward for our U10s BLUE at the Academy Cup.

Throughout the tournament, the boys showed real intent — committed to playing our style, building from the back, and having the courage to stay on the ball in all moments. That bravery and willingness to take responsibility is exactly what development looks like.

There were strong signs of growth in the way we moved the ball, supported each other, and stayed connected as a team. The understanding of the game is improving, and the identity is becoming clearer with every match.

Experiences like this are key in shaping confident, intelligent players. Learning to stay composed, trust the process, and keep pushing forward together.
