After nearly 15 YEARS of enjoying events I am suuuuper proud to announce that .design is sponsoring the next event, which is tomorrow!!

We recently embarked on an exciting project with , Senior Industrial Designer at the University of Queensland, to bring virtual prototyping into the design workflow to try and answer design questions faster.

I have been absolutely loving cruising on my bike to the
once a month for Creative Mornings for the last couple of years. I remember going when it started 14 years ish ago and it’s still going strong! More folks need to know about this - It’s free!! And you don’t have to be in a creative industry to enjoy it.

The Forefront is a banger of a venue (I even took them up on the offer for a few free coworking days) so get along to the next one if you can.

Oh and I can’t forgot to mention and for the lights in that space.

*sound on!* Hello! And welcome to our first post as Composit.

Composit is a design and creative practice led by Ben Breitenstein. After 20 years in the industry, we decided it was time for a fresh start, so here we are!

This logo reveal animation that showcases a few small corners of the creative disciplines we dabble in, including 3D animation, motion design, compositing and sound design.

Composit is a name that could mean a lot of different things depending on what corner of the design, construction or media industry you're familiar with. But at the same time, it encompasses so many aspects of those industries, both literal and figurative, that it felt like a good fit.

Oh, and we chopped off the 'e' because it looks cooler and was way easier to buy that domain...

ANYWAY our goal is not to focus on a particular discipline, but to answer questions for people and solve problems for people and businesses using all the skills and tools at our disposal—as well as all the wonderful, creative people in our network.
