Feeling stiff, tight or not standing as tall as you used to?
Built-up muscle tension has a sneaky way of showing up in everyday life - while gardening, lifting groceries or walking the dog. It can also make it harder to exercise and move comfortably.
The good news? Massage therapy can help:
✨ Release tight muscles and stubborn knots
✨ Improve posture and flexibility
✨ Reduce stiffness and tension
✨ Support better movement and spinal health
Leo, our Remedial Massage Therapist, uses techniques such as trigger point therapy, Bowen-style movements, cross fibre friction and muscle stripping techniques to help release built-up tension and improve movement.
Regular massage check-ins can make a big difference in helping your body move and feel its best 😊

Exercise Right Week is all about making sure you’re getting the right exercise, the right way, for your body. 🙌
At our Chermside Clinic, the equipment is multifunctional, meaning every machine and exercise is adapted to your goals, your ability and where you’re starting from.
Here’s a snapshot of some of our machines and exercises, the muscle groups they target, and how we progress them.
Everything is carefully prescribed by our Exercise Physiologists and progressed over time, so you’re always moving safely, building strength and improving confidence.
Move better. Feel stronger. Exercise right 💙

✍️ Our resident wordsmith and gym member has been busy crafting poems and limericks, and we’ve proudly turned an entire wall at our Chermside Clinic into a showcase of his work - aka “Ron’s writing on the wall.”
Who knew we had such a prolific poet in our midst? At this rate we are going to need more blank wall space 😋
Thanks, Ron, for keeping us smiling and filling our space with creativity, wit and a whole lot of personality.
Here’s the famous Ron, pictured alongside our Exercise Physiologist, Mikaela.

Did you know your blood pressure can change within minutes of exercise? ❤️
That’s why our Exercise Physiologists do quick checks before and after your exercise session. But what are we looking for?
🌟 Safety first: ensuring your body is ready for exercise - especially if you’re tired, stressed or not feeling 100%
🌟 How your heart adapts: your blood pressure acts like a live feedback loop, showing how efficiently your heart responds and recovers after movement
🌟 Real progress you can’t always feel: improvements in heart health show up in the numbers before anything else
🌟 Early warning signs: high blood pressure (hypertension) often has no symptoms, so these checks help flag anything
🌟 Smarter, personalised training: so your exercise is matched to your body, not a one-size-fits-all approach
This Heart Health Week, it’s a simple reminder: what happens in your session is important - but what’s happening inside your heart matters even more.
