Blind golf for Queensland

Blind Golf Queensland Inc. was established in February 2019. Its members are a group of Queenslanders who were either totally blind, vision impaired, had light or dark perception or were starting their journey to becoming legally blind according to the interpretation of the legal definition.

We all had one thing in common, we liked to play golf! And the reason we do play golf at varying levels of proficiency is that we are happy to “Have a go “at the game we loved to play regardless of if we can see the ball or not.

BGQ is here to offer encouragement to its members, caddy’s friends and visitors including volunteers who wish to re-engage with the game they used to play or are just coming along for the first time and who might also happen to be blind or vision impaired.
