Pre-premier, National Cup, Pre-championship and Champions Challenge Sword. Well done on a fantastic effort on day two! So proud of the way you all show up for yourselves and each other; that sense of community makes all the difference at big comps like this.

🌟Internationals Day 1🌟

Super fun first day with ! We kicked it off with some team goodies and a bit of rehearsal then straight into the nationals and choreography evening. Congratulations dancers; I know you all had a blast working together and having fun with your friends!

THIS is what it’s all about; creating good humans above all else. And what a blessing to be finding life-long friends in the process!

I took this picture after London finished her reel in the wrong spot, at the SDCCS Open Championship. “Open” means that there are dancers from anywhere in the world in her category.

I went to find her, and turned the corner, to see this giant tartan hug.

These kids did this, unprompted by any adult.

London will return the favour to these competitors…who just happen to grow into friends.

Highland Dancers are the most amazing people, even when they are just 8 or 9 yrs old.
