We’re proud to have been able to support Lauchy Williams at ASBK - Australian Superbikes Round 4 as he made his first ever visit to Morgan Park Raceway in Queensland.

The circuit is a challenging one to learn but its even more so when you have to ride your first ever laps in the wet (on friday), and in company with the fastest Supersport riders in Australia...all of whom have ridden the track before.

Lauchy is a proud Noongar rider from Western Australia and the only Indigenous rider competing at this level of Australian motorsport. To set himself this daunting challenge is testament to his commitment to racing and the weekend was very much a steep learning curve but one that will stand him in good stead for future seasons.

We worked with Lauchy to get him comfortable on the bike, develop his pace and set up through the event, and every time he went out on track, he improved his lap times. By the last race of the weekend he'd achieved a 1.19.4 lap time which, given the limited time on track, that was a lap time that was impressive to see him achieve. In results Lauchy scored a 6th and 8th in class.

It was an absolute pleasure to have Lauchy, his dad John and Grant Martin in the team for the weekend and we hope to be able to support Lauchy in future events but also wish him all the very best of luck in the WA SS600 and SS300 Championships that he currently leads.

Well done mate, massive challenge for you and you achieved everything we expected and more!
