Redcliffe Gateball Club

ibrary on Oxley Ave, Redcliffe where we play on Wednesday afternoons from 1pm to 4pm and Saturday mornings from 9am to 12pm. We also play at the Deception Bay Club on Monday and Wednesday Nights from 5.30pm to 8.30pm. We identified a need for more involvement in non contact team games. There are many children, veterans, elderly, people from different cultures and those with mental health issues who are unable to participate in contact sports. We feel that it is important to interact in team sports to help them develop socially. Our aim is to incorporate these people into our game, use our skills, knowledge and patience to help them. Gateball allows for this as we include people from ages 8-90. This in turn helps to make them feel important and part of something. We believe this will be a great advantage to the community if we can do so.
