FIGHT FOR 4TH HEATS UP
Should the NSW Swifts be thinking about a coaching change for next season, would Tayla Williams benefit from a fresh start at another franchise, and is it time for Netball Australia to consider selling off Suncorp Super Netball?
It was another huge weekend of close contests, and one game that definitely wasn’t, as the race for 4th is starting to create a clear gap between the teams building momentum and the teams running out of time.
New ep out now on Spotify, Apple and iHeart Radio!

MAVS MID-SEASON MOMENTUM
We’re halfway through the Suncorp Super Netball season and we're asking the big questions: do coaches go in and out of form like players? Are injuries becoming a bigger issue and is it time to rethink training methods? And should the Grand Final have a permanent home?
Plus, we unpack Round 7, with the Mavs clinging to fourth (again!) and the Vixens continuing to lead from the front.

CIRCLE DEFENDERS
After Gez Murphy's chat about gain to penalty ratio during the Firebirds v Mavericks game in RD7, we thought we'd add some analysis on the ratios per team as well as our usual per player per minute analysis.
HOW TO READ:
1. Penalties = Obstructions + Contacts
2. Gains = Intercepts, Deflections With A Gain, Rebounds (as per Champion Data)
4. In the Player Analysis, only players with more than 60 mins playing time in total are included

VIXENS RISE TO THE TOP
This week, we explore whether teams should consider introducing Super Shots earlier in matches, and discuss whether delivering a “spray” to players leads to a positive or negative impact on performance. We also ask if Fran Williams is currently the most underrated defender in the game?
There's plenty more as we break down all the key results from Round 6, including the Firebirds delivering their most impressive performance yet, what’s next for the Swifts as they look to regroup, and the Vixens cementing their place as outright ladder leaders after defeating the Thunderbirds.

In this special bonus episode, we sit down with Hulita Veve to talk about her journey to elite netball and the moments that shaped her career.
We also chat about her devastating ACL injury during the 2025 SSN season, how recovery is progressing, and what it’s taken mentally and physically to get back on track.
Hulita also shares her plans to return to elite netball, what’s driving her comeback, and how she’s staying involved in the game through her work with Struddys and also helping to bring the 3rd instalment of the exciting 10K Cup to life.

SHOOTER TO SHOOTER
A 2 part this week as we take a look at which teams have the strongest connections between the shooters in feeds, but also which "true" GS is the queen of feeds and assists? Hint: there is only 1 standout!
How to read:
1. Team Feeds: DOES NOT include players that are across both mid & shoot, eg Gerogie Horjus
2. GS Feeds: only includes players who are predominantly GS eg. DOES NOT include Cara Koenen
3. GS Feeds: the top right is considered the "GREEN" state ie. who is doing the best in this stat

UNDERDOGS RISE TO THE OCCASION
Round 5 delivered a serious reality check, with the so-called bottom sides proving they’re more than capable of matching it with the competition heavyweights. The gap is closing, and the pressure is building across the ladder.
In this week’s Believe It or Not segment, we dive into whether the NZ imports are truly making the impact everyone expected or is it all hype?. And then there’s the big one: is it time for Romelda to call it a day, or does she still have plenty left to give as the legend of the game?
