Summer holidays by the beach is always guaranteed to help me relax and renew my energy.
A few more days of holidays and then I’ll be focusing on putting the finishing touches on a series of wellbeing workshops and the pilot program of my girls high performance sport mindset and resilience course.

With so much going on in our busy lives, finding time to take care of our health can easily get pushed down the list of priorities.
What is one area of your life that feels like it needs a revamp?
Whatever area you choose to work on, making dramatic changes in a week is rarely sustainable. Small consistent steps make significant and lasting change over time.
It doesn’t matter how small that firat step is. Just take the step. Then take it again tomorrow. And again the next day.

Healthy, nourishing food can be quick. It’s a typical Monday morning, school lunches, the work commute.
This coconut kefir, raspberry and spirulina smoothie took less than 2mins to make with a Nutrabullet. Pour in the kefir, add frozen rasberries, spoon in the spirulina powder and blend.

Chipping away at my goal, one run at a time. Last night’s run tipped me over the 800km mark.
Aiming to reach 1000km by Christmas.

What’s 1 new habit you can start today that will benefit your mental or physical health?
It may be a shift in mindset or a physical action.
It doesn’t matter how small you make the step, just take that step everyday for the month of August and see where it takes you.
My habit - 10 mins of stretching every morning before work.
Drop a comment below to let us know your new habit. ☀️

This sits just down the road from our new home. A fabulous neighbourhood library looked after by a member of the local community.
It has recently returned with extra waterproofing after being inundated with water during the February flood.

The past few months have been intense but I finally feel like we are settling into our new lifestyle in Brisbane. In between packing, moving, finding a new home, helping our daughter settle into school and a host of other life stuff, I feel like my diet has included too many processed foods. It’s time to get back on track.
Quick, simple, nourishing body fuel.
The red papaya in the chia bowl is from the papaya tree in our backyard.
