In T20 cricket, bowlers are beginning to master the art of bowling into the wicket π
This allows them to set square fields, stop batters from step hitting down the ground and instead make them go to the longer boundaries π―
shows us one way he goes about countering this and being able to target the sight screen π₯

Sequencing βοΈ > Strength πͺ
When it comes to the pull shot, the difference between clean power and mistimed hits comes from how the body works together.
Early in the swing, the key is to stay compact:
β
Upper body controlled/engaged
β
Arms connected
β
Hips initiating trunk rotation
The power starts from the ground up.
But donβt forget what happens next!
If you stay stiff or rigid as the ball arrives, you get cramped and lose bat speed. Instead, you need to release through the shot, letting the body unwind and throwing the bottom hand at the ball.
How connected do you feel early in your pull shot?π

Change things up! ππ
Itβs always great when the conditions favour your strengths as a batter!
But quite often, the pitch plays a little bit different.
In white ball cricket, especially, this is when you may need to take a different approach.
Thatβs why spending time at training playing different shots, creating abstract angles and hitting the ball in varied areas can come in handy.
j33 is showing us how itβs done in this clip!
