Our Story

Mount Gravatt District Horse and Pony Club Inc. would like to welcome everyone to our beautiful and spacious grounds. Established since 1961 Mount Gravatt District Horse and Pony Club has a rich history in both the EFA and also in the PCAQ events. Our facilites have recently moved to a new location and include a cross country course, showjumping facilities, dressage & riding areas, round yard, shower and lavatory facilities, town water, multiple horse yards, storage, ample shady parking, and a future trail challenge course. We hire out our grounds to Schools, Associations, Clubs and individuals on a regular basis at affordable prices!* (conditions apply)
We aim to encourage young (and not so young) people to ride and learn to enjoy all kinds of sport connected with horses and riding. To provide qualified instruction in riding and horsemanship, and to instil in members the proper love and care of their animals. We aim to promote the highest ideals of horsemanship, citizenship and loyalty thereby cultivating strength of character and self discipline. At MGDH&PC we encourage and support all our members to be safe but most of all make lasting friendships and have lots of fun in the wonderful world of horses!
