In memory of Ashling Murphy there will be a vigil tonight at 6.45pm in the Amphitheatre at Kangaroo Point to remember her and all who have died by gender-based violence ❤️
Please wear a mask and bring a candle 🕯
Ashling Murphy was murdered in broad daylight this week in Tullamore, Co. Offaly. There has been a huge outpouring of grief and support for Ashling and her family.
Although, the Irish community in Brisbane can’t be at home, we can support Ashling and all the women who have lost their lives at the hands of male violence towards women.
If you are unable to attend the vigil, you are invited to light a candle at 7pm and have a moment’s silence in rememberance of Ashling.

It has been an interesting season here in Brisbane with so many changes occurring throughout the year that have tested us all. We thank each and every one of the players, coaches, committee members, referees, lines people, umpires, volunteers at Willawong each game day and to the QGFHA for making our season run so smoothly. Here’s to building on this for full preparation for our 2022 Camogie & Hurling season.
⭐️ A successful season can’t end just like that! Keep an eye on some details of our End of Year Social in the coming weeks. 😉
