PSA: I'm on hiatus until further notice ❤
Like so many of us, I'm exhausted. The last couple of years navigating pregnancy, pandemic and postpartum have left me feeling energetically depleted.
As an empath and highly sensitive person, I have to trust my intuition and follow the signs. I need to stop, re-prioritise and rest. Otherwise theres nothing left of me to support and share with my family, friends and beloved community.
For the time being, I'm closing my coaching doors and won't be in this online space for a while. So it's a soft farewell for now. Not forever, as CalmPassionate Coaching continues to burn on in my heart and I still have much to share. Just when the time is right.
If you're interested in what I'm currently sharing, I'm stripping things back and sharing my heart-filled honest poetry and writing over - I'd love to see you there if you feel called to do so. Writing is my life passion and I've been called to dive deep, be brave and share more.
Otherwise I'll see you on the other side, whenever that may be. Thank you for being here and sharing in this journey with me. Stay safe, take deep breaths and follow your hearts passions ❤
With love, Heather xo

How does money make YOU feel?
A healthy mindset is so important to feel calm and in control of different areas of your life - and money can certainly trigger stress. I've shared my deep-diving tips with Your Money and Your Life to explore your own money mindset so you can feel calmer and more in control of your situation.
How to develop a healthy money mindset - Your Money & Your Life
Creating a healthy money mindset comes from first understanding and developing a good relationship with money. Take these steps to get there.

It's ok to feel all the feels.
There is no "right" way to feel or process.
We're all on our own journey here.
You can feel compassionate and empathic alongside anger and frustration.
You do not (and should not) always sit on the "light". The darkness also needs to be seen and experienced for things to shape, change and shift.
We are complicated people and our emotions reflect that, whether or not we're confident, aware or able to communicate that outwardly.
We're in such a strange time in the world right now (biggest understatement of the year?!) but it can't and won't last forever.
"This too shall pass..." may not be useful right now, but it must be true. I hold onto hope that it will.
I'm writing to you from yet another lockdown and whilst it's a (hopefully) short one, I want to acknowledge everyone who has been triggered by this unexpected change. Particularly fellow Victorians who have, like me, made the move to QLD.
❤ Take each day as it comes.
❤ Plan your day and keep your expectations kind.
❤ Stay connected and reach out to loved ones.
Stay safe and stay well ❤

Today was our one millionth day in lockdown. It was supposed to end tonight, but instead we're extending our house-holiday for another 14 days (if we were on a tropical island with friends & family, then this amount of forced time out would be AMAZING!! But obviously, for most of us, it's not a holiday).
There are plenty of articles out there showing solidarity with Victorians. "You can do it!" "Only XX more days to go...", (ONLY?!)...
It comes from a good place. But unless you're here, living & breathing the anxiety, uncertainty, fear, isolation, guilt, depression & so much more...you can never understand. Said with the greatest and most heartfelt respect.💗
So please stop asking us "what we've been up to" & "what we did at the weekend", because most of us are past the bread making, upskilling, creative phase. We are grieving. Mourning. For the people we have lost, our declining mental health, living in fear of contracting & in fear if we already have. We have lost jobs, loved ones, freedoms and futures. We are living a life we couldn't possibly prepare for. We're afraid for our children's future.
Everyone has lost something. From those with the most privilege to those with the least (often disproportionately). This is sadness. This is grief.
So, instead of your well intentioned motivational quotes or fumbling positivity, perhaps just stop. Take a breath. Kneel down to meet us where we are & allow us to grieve. Perhaps even grieve with us. Because we know this affects more than just us. The parents, grandparents & siblings split apart by state, although together in heart. You can't fix our situation and thats ok. You don't have to know the right words, just protect us from the wrong ones.
Do the right thing so we can be united again. If you want to be in true solidarity with us, wear a mask. Wear it properly. Stay home. Distance. Actually distance - even when it's hard & you don't want to. Keep washing and sanitizing & take it seriously.
So we can feel freedom once more.
So we can embrace in warm hugs without fear.
So families can be reunited.
So the deep despair can start to lift.
So we can move forward to create a new future & to start healing 💗

Happy International Women's Day from our Digital & Communications Manager, Heather!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
"International Women's Day is such an important day that we must remember all year round, not just today. This year's theme of Generation Equality, is particularly relevant to the work we do to empower women financially . ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
With so many women experiencing gender and age pay gap issues across all generations; as well as losing out on Super due to maternity, carers or unpaid leave, it's an issue that affects all of us. It's time to put these issues at the forefront of people's minds so we can change the stereotypes, the stigma and our policies to support women fairly and financially at all stages of their life."⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

A flashback to last year's annual Intuitive Vision Board Workshop!
It was so much fun to host and support so many inspiring women to visualize and realize their vision! I'm a BIG believer in the power of vision boards and they're so much fun to make too!
Last year, I created a small but powerful vision board to make space for and welcome our new little baby - little did I know that we were coming to the end of a long and emotive journey. My gorgeous fertility vision board is now a powerful reminder that action, calm living and positivity can make a huge difference in getting to the finish line in whatever you're trying to achieve - no matter how impossible it seems!
This year, I made the conscious decision to step back and not host my annual vision board workshop, so I can focus on my own visions for all the changes that are coming up in my family's future this year!
On my vision board to-do list is:
✨A calm birth vision board
✨A first-year family life vision board
✨Update my digital future life vision board (to include my little one and perhaps take out one of the 20 Westie pups in there!) 🐶
What visions do you have for the year ahead?

💖 Happy V-Day lovers! 💖
Whilst I'm not a fan of the day per-se, I thought I'd use this day of love to share some of my own lovely news....💖
My lovely email community already knows this (and sent me some gorgeous emails of support too!), but in May this year, I'm going to be a first-time Mumma! 🤰
Things are going really well and we're super excited - we just can't wait to meet our lil bub!
With this HUGE life change in the works, I've made the conscious desicion to keep my client books closed until the end of the year, so if you've been thinking of a career change and coaching with me - send me a DM and I'll pop you on my exclusive waitlist - you'll be the first to know when I'm back on board post-baby 😊
So for now, if things stay a little quiet, it's because I'm refocussing and reprioritizing my own lil world so I'm emotionally, physically and mentally prepared to become a new Mumma (or as ready as you can be!)
In the meantime, my Freebies Library is still (and will remain) open until the end of the year - so head over to my website to sign up now for TONS of great tools, templates, workbooks and resources to help you in your career, organize your life and to deep-dive into some mindset work too. Visit www.calmpassionatecoaching.com to sign up!

Have you ever felt that the career path you're on is not for you anymore?
I see this with my clients all the time! It often starts out feeling dissatisfied, unfulfilled and wondering what else is out there and believe me, I've been there too...
Which is why I started because I wanted to help empower other empathic women, like my wonderful client Lama. She came to me because she felt disorganized, unfulfilled and she wanted to find her true passion in life - something that she could turn into a career that gave her the spark she was looking for! ✨
“Heather works her magic to give you a unique and heart-warming experience. Before, I felt lost and now I’m less anxious, less stressed and have more energy to make positive decisions.
People around me have noticed how confident I am and I’ve learned to accept and be proud of myself. Now, I feel energized, satisfied and enlightened that I’ve got a new routine for my family and a new career passion that I’m excited about.
I would definitely recommend working with Heather - it’s the best decision I ever made!” ✨
Now Lama feels more confident and organized, she's now on the path to become an Interior Designer! She also welcomed her second son into the world last month too - how amazing is she?! ✨😍
Do you feel a career change coming? If so, what would you absolutely LOVE to do in a perfect world? Let me know in the comments below! ⬇️

We're already through the first month of the year, and wow - hasn't it been a strange one?!
Around the world, we've seen heartache and heartbreak as our environment suffers and our political leaders play the blame game. For sensitive people, particularly empaths, it's been an emotional and tough start to the year - which is partly why I've been so quiet online recently.
But it's not all doom and gloom, because there is always a silver lining and positive things happening all around us too - some days we might just have to look a little harder for it.
If you've been feeling the emotional strain, I recommend the following:
💖 Put yourself first and create some time to digest, rest and restore
💖 Limit how much news you read and watch. It's important to be informed, but you can't take action if you're emotionally burned out
💖 Stop doing things because you "should" and focus on the things you need right now, to get back to balance
💖 Find something that makes you smile and laugh - even small bits of positivity can make us feel calmer amongst all the craziness
Sending all my love and energy to all the empaths and sensitive people around the world 💖💖💖

Invigorated and ready to achieve your KPIs?

A week into a new decade, and I've never felt so much deep sadness. A time usually reserved for setting positive new goals, is now reserved for comprehending the scale of the and understanding how we can all help - even in a small way.
Money. Having worked in the charity sector for over a decade, cash donations really are the BEST way to make an impact. Donating, even a small amount, helps teams to respond quicker to help families and animals in crisis.
My own small actions have gone to financial support:
And there are so many more such as
I know not everyone will be able to help financially, but there is always something we can do:
🌐 Look up and donate specifically requested goods through www.givit.org.au/disasters
👨👩👧👧 Keep yourself safe when travelling around Australia and download the Fires Near Me app
🏘Offer accommodation to those affected by the fires in East Gippsland by emailing your details to: [email protected]
📰 Keep up to date with and online for the latest info on how you can help
☎️ Talk to each other and your children about the fires and reach out for help via if you're struggling with the effects of the fires (or any other issues).
Together, we are not helpless. A little bit done collectively makes a big difference.
Keep yourselves and your loved ones safe during this horrific and challenging and time. With love, Heather 💕
