The Series gives U9 - U17 athletes of all abilities the opportunity to enjoy their favourite events across two smaller competition days—without the pressure of a major Championship event.

Expect a fantastic big-event atmosphere, plenty of Club pride and a day filled with fun, friendship and great competition!

Our first U11 & U12 Transitional Events Series is almost here—secure your place at City North Little Athletics before registrations close!

You don’t need to be a City North athlete to attend. The series is open to U11 and U12 athletes registered with any Little Athletics Centre in Queensland, as well as athletes currently trialing at a Centre.

Athletes will choose two events—Triple Jump, Javelin or High Jump (Flop)—and receive 45 minutes of dedicated coaching in each. Two events for just $30!

A huge congratulations to Laidley Little Athletics - the first Summer Centre to surpass its total registrations from last season!

Laidley has already welcomed 235 members for the new season, racing past last season’s total of 206....... and they’re still growing!

Congratulations to Joselyn Thorton from Biloela Little Athletics, our August Macca’s Local Legend! ❤️💛

For many years, Joselyn has gone above and beyond to keep her Centre running—often taking on multiple roles to ensure local children can continue enjoying Little Athletics.

You’ll find Joselyn marking lines, making ice cups, updating Facebook, organising presentation nights and even supplying her own generator when the power isn’t working so club competitions can go ahead!

This is Joselyn’s final year with the Centre as her children, who joined as U6 athletes, prepare to age out. Her dedication has played an enormous part in keeping Biloela Little Athletics going, making this recognition incredibly well deserved.

Open to all LAQ registered U7–U17 Little Athletics Queensland athletes, regardless of ability, the carnival is a fantastic opportunity to: Chase a new PB, try a new event, compete alongside friends and enjoy an exciting carnival atmosphere!

Athletes can nominate for up to four events.
