Practising Gratitude β―οΈ
Practising gratitude daily is a very powerful tool in connecting the brain, building new habits and improving overall mental health. When you are in state of gratitude it is impossible to be in a state of fear or lack. It allows us to see opportunties around us and the resources we have readily available that may have been overlooked. There are many studies proving the connection between well-being and gratitude. Gratitude is a also a remedy for any excuse you may be holding.
πΏ What are three things I am grateful for today?
πΏ Write down 3 things you are grateful for and why, let yourself feel the emotion of gratitude as you reflect upon these things.

3. Fatigue Management
Fatigue management is regulating your fatigue levels to a point where it is not negatively impacting performance and improvement. When you are continuously overloading, fatigue is unavoidable.
Although we can mitigate the effect through regular rest intervals, breaking up your training through the use of lighter days and βde-loadβ periods. Consistently presenting the biggest overload possible whilst being able to rest and recover properly will ultimately be the key to making continuous progress towards your goals.
Key Points
πΏ Listen to your body.
πΏ Rest when needed.

2. Progressive Overload
Progressive Overload is the second most important training principle and is essential for improvement. In order for our bodies to change, we need to have introduced enough of a stimulus that a response for adaptation occurs. You cannot keep doing the same thing week in, week out and expect your body to change.
We need to progressively increase the intensity and total volume of our training so that our body is forced to adapt to cope with these new demands. There are a number of ways we can progressively overload with resistance training. You can do this by weekly increasing your total amount performed which includes, weights, reps or tempo.
Alternatively increasing the load of a portion of a movement where weakness occurs. This is why it is essential to track your progress to ensure that you are overloading in some form.
This is one of the reasons the training journal has been created. It is very easy to train with the same intensity every week if you are not tracking what you are doing. Looking back on your previous week of training and simply increasing the weight or total volume on what you hit the previous week will force your body to adapt.
Key Points
πΏ Use a big enough stimulus that response for adaptation occurs.
πΏ Forcing your body to increase in bone density, muscle mass and strength.
πΏ Be safe and smart.
πΏ Track your workouts.

Habit Forming β―οΈ
Connecting with your "why" and creating habits.
Motivation will only get you so far, that is why it is so important that training becomes a lifestyle for you and becomes part of who you are.
When training with intent and a clear purpose becomes a part of who you are as a person, naturally a long term habit will be formed.
That is one of the reasons why we consistently give you the space to reflect on your time and intention in the gym. When your why is more powerful than any excuse, nothing will hold you back from getting a result.
Becoming connected with the emotions and feelings behind your training reguarly; we beleive is a key pillar to creating long term habits that are part of your lifestyle and who you are as a person.
