TEAM SELECTIONS – SENIOR WOMEN’S 🏉

Both of our Senior Women’s teams hit the road this weekend for two exciting clashes!

Div 1 Women travel to take on Sherwood in a massive top-of-the-table showdown. With both sides pushing for premiership contention, this promises to be a high-quality contest and an important test as the season heats up.

Div 2 Women make the trip across the bridge to face Redcliffe as they look to continue building momentum and bring home another strong performance.

Friday night footy is back at The Nest as our Thirds take on Mayne under lights!

After a strong start to the season, the boys will be looking to put together another four-quarter performance against a quality Mayne outfit.

With the Senior Men’s side enjoying a well-earned bye this weekend, it’s the perfect opportunity to get behind the Thirds and show your support under the Friday night lights ❤️💚

AUSKICK KIDS – SCHOOL HOLIDAYS IS SORTED 🏉

Looking for something to keep the kids entertained these school holidays? AFL Queensland is hosting a fun-filled School Holiday Program right here at Sandgate!

Designed for kids aged 4–12, the day is packed with footy activities, mini games, skill development and plenty of fun in a safe and inclusive environment.

📍Sandgate JAFC, 120 Lemke Road, Taigum
💲 $55 per child

GIRLS - ONLY, sessions are also available on Thursday 2 July, providing a fantastic opportunity for girls to enjoy a day of footy, build confidence, develop new skills and make new friends in a fun and supportive environment.

A great way for young footballers to stay active, learn new skills and enjoy a full day of footy fun these holidays!

U15-17 STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS UPDATE 🏉

Good luck to our Sandgate Hawks players Hayden, Aidan, Munro, Lucy, Sarhree, Mia, Willow, Sienna, Ally, Mischa, Nakita, Irelande and Sophia, who are proudly representing Met North at the U15–U17 AFL State Championships over the next four days at South Pine Sports Complex.

On Sunday our U13 Div 5 Green team proudly took part in an MND event. The team got behind a fantastic cause, showing great community spirit both on and off the field. It was wonderful to see players and coaches come together to raise awareness and support for those affected by MND 💙

The teams are locked in for another exciting weekend of women's footy!

Our Division 1 Women face the Sharks for the first time this season in what promises to be a great contest. The girls will be eager to test themselves against a new opponent and continue building momentum.

Our Division 2 Women also have a tough challenge ahead as they take on Mayne. With plenty on the line, the team will be looking to put together a strong four-quarter performance and come away with an important result.
