Here's what elite runners know โ€” distraction isn't weakness. It's strategy.
Try this on your next run:
Count to 100. Over and over. Your brain physically cannot spiral and count at the same time.
Or find one thing to be grateful for every km. Your mood lifts. The run flies by.
Mind work is training too. And the runners who master it are the ones who keep going when everyone else stops.

๐ŸŽ‰ 16 weeks ago, Kim and Ed started a journey with one goal โ€” to run 5km.

This morning at Sandgate Park Run, they did exactly that. ๐Ÿ‘

16 weeks of early mornings, hard work, and showing up โ€” even when it was tough. Today it all paid off.

Kim and Ed โ€” we couldnโ€™t be prouder. Youโ€™re runners now. Full stop.
