Play On! Sports Vouchers Are Back!! 💵💵

Great news for families! The Queensland Government’s Play On Sports Vouchers program is returning, with eligible children aged 5–17 years able to receive up to $200 to help cover the cost of participating in sport.

📣 When is the best time to secure your new Play On! Sports Voucher?

Applications for Play On! Sports Vouchers will open on 27 July, with up to $200 available to help Queensland kids aged from 5-17 participate in sport.

There will be two opportunities to apply this financial year.

If you’re planning ahead for summer sport, it’s best to apply this round. If your focus is on winter sports like netball or football, you may prefer to wait for the round later this financial year.

Congratulations to the 36 Chandler swimmers that took the blocks at the Brisbane Senior Short Course Championships last weekend. The competition was fierce and the weekend was filled with INCREDIBLE swims - the results speak for themselves! 👏

232 races were swum, producing 165 amazing PB’s - a PB rate of 71%! This is a testament to the hard work, determination and commitment that our swimmers bring to training every single day! Each swimmer represented the club with pride, supporting one another and working together to contribute to an outstanding result - 2nd PLACE OVERALL on Team Points!! 🥈

The season is only just beginning but it has definitely started with a bang … let’s go CHANDLER!! 💥💥

NEXT GEN WORLD JUNIOR CAMP!! 🌟🌟

Congratulations to Lincoln W, accompanied by Head Coach Tsuyoshi Kimura, who recently attended the 2026 Swimming Australia Next Gen World Junior Camp! 🏊🏻‍♂️

This prestigious eight day camp, held at the AIS in Canberra, was open to the nations Top 16 elite swimmers who have been identified as future international representatives. Lincoln and Tsuyoshi spent the week immersing themselves in Australia’s high performance swimming culture, an incredible honour and testament to Lincolns hard work over a number of years!! 💙❤️

NEXT WAVE INVITATIONAL CAMP!! 🌟🌟

Congratulations to Isaac W, Olivia G and Jesse H who were selected to attend the 2026 Swimming Australia Next Wave Invitational Camp! 🏊🏻‍♂️🏊🏻‍♀️

This six day camp, currently taking place in Canberra, brings together an exclusive group of 64 of the country’s top age group swimmers; providing invaluable racing and training experience. The outstanding performance of these three athletes at the recent Australian Age Championships has placed them amongst the next generation of elite swimmers - well done team!! 💙❤️

BRISVEGAS SWIMMING CAMP!! 🌟🌟

This premier development program took place at the Gold Coast over four days in June, focusing on improving form strokes in a fun and competitive environment. Congratulations swimmers, your countless hours of dedication and commitment in the pool have earned this wonderful opportunity! 💙❤️

2026 CHANDLER SC SHORT COURSE PREP MEET!! 💙❤️

Wow, what a fantastic start to the short course season for our Chandler swimmers at our Short Course Prep Meet yesterday! There was plenty of cheering, enthusiasm and A LOT of super fast swimming on display!! ⚡️

Congratulations to the 93 CHANDLER SWIMMERS that raced in 450 races yesterday, producing a staggering 264 Personal Bests! AMAZING!! Well done swimmers, you should be very proud of yourselves! 👏

A VERY big thank you to our incredible coaching team, supporting every single swimmer with professionalism and care! The road to Junior/Senior Short Course Championships is well underway - let’s go CHANDLER!! 🎉
