We invite applications from classically trained dancers with strong technical proficiency and an openness to a diverse repertoire, including modern works.
Opportunities are available within our Jette Parker Young Artist Program and Clark Graduate Program, with consideration for Company positions should vacancies arise.

Curious about our new training programs?
We have a lot of exciting changes coming in 2027, including our return to the Thomas Dixon Centre.
Today, our team was delighted to host an information session and morning tea with dance teachers from our local community. Attendees had the opportunity to meet our Artistic and Academy Directors, take a tour of the building, and observe Company class.

We’re excited to share a positive step forward for Queensland Ballet’s future 🩰
From 2027, our Academy training will be united at the Thomas Dixon Centre, creating a single home for young dancers as they progress from early training into professional life with Queensland Ballet.
By bringing our Academy under the same roof as the Company, we’re strengthening the connection between training and Company life — supporting strong artistic outcomes, and student wellbeing in line with leading international practice.

Ballet Bun & Ballet Ribbons Workshop (Ages 5–8) 🎀
Bring your little dancer to a fun, hands-on workshop designed especially for young dancers and their parents or caregivers. In this session, we’ll show you how to create a beautiful ballet bun or other suitable dance hair style, and how to correctly sew and tie ribbons and elastics on ballet flats (shoes).
Our teachers will guide you step-by-step, sharing simple techniques to help dancers feel comfortable, confident, and prepared for class, performances, or any special dance occasion.
Perfect for families new to ballet, this FREE workshop gives young dancers the essential skills they need to step into class ready and excited to dance.
