END OF SEASON 2026

A huge thanks to everyone involved this season .

Let’s start by thanking our major sponsors who provided financial support to the club in both our seasons so far:

EVACO

Protein Supplies Australia

And our community sponsor:

Inala Wangarra Inc. who provided our end of season venue free of charge.

Along with Miss Emma Barsi ( former Glenala teacher ) who donated our Plaque.

And Danielle Kaitu who kindly comes and shoots some photos even thought we only ask her on the day !!

Without these businesses, people and organizations we can’t keep the club going with this model of affordable and accessible netball.

To our families and players thanks again for a great year of netball together it was really special winning 2 GF and being able to celebrate that together.

Our whole idea when the club started was to bring our community together and help these young woman make memories and have some fun while making it easier on the families of these players by making it affordable and closer to home.

No matter if we are winning GF in Div 1 or missing finals in Div 5 it won’t change how we approach the club and what we hope to do.

Keep an eye out on our socials early 2027 for information around teams we will be nominating for the 2027 season and sign on dates.

To any community members in Inala/Acacia Ridge areas or have a connection to it who might want to come on board and coach, even if you don’t play for us we would love to hear from you.

To our players past or present who are interested in using your cert in fitness your studying towards at school keep an eye out for our Mini Aces program as we will be offering paid after school work running our program if we can get the funding needed to get it off the ground .

To our players who are now to old for our U18s and are on to bigger and better things , it’s been a absolute pleasure having you apart of our club and as much as we would love to have a Opens team unless something changes we are probably not set up for that right now, but no matter were you play next season and in the future all of the Aces crew will be cheering you on at what ever club you end up at next ❤️

And hopefully one day we can reunite and enter a team and go for the big one in the future , A grade!! as this area has the talent to do it !!

Thanks everyone we have loved meeting new families and reconnecting with others 🙏🏼

It’s so nice to bump into people in the community and have a chat, share a wave or head nod and just get to know each other better as most of our kids and familes go to school together or know each other in ways over the years from the area, and as they grow older it’s these connections between families and young people from all walks of life that will strengthen our community.

Until next time time enjoy some rest and good luck to our year 12 girls for formals and graduation.

ACES SPIRIT AWARD WINNER 2026

Our end of season awards are done and dusted for 2026.

We will recap in the next day or so but our big award we present every year is the Aces spirit award.

The winner of this gets their name on our perpetual plaque which was kindly donated by Miss Emma Barsi along with a trophy.

This award in 2026 not only recognizes an extremely high level of play and leadership in our Grand final winning 14/15s team but also stepping up to umpire Div 1 for our U18s girls. This player turned up to training with a smile and great attitude , umpired some really intense games and showed determination, maturity and was an absolute pleasure to have apart our club along with being a dominate force in the circle for her team it was a easy decision.

With her family supporting her it was a pleasure to have them all apart of our club and young people like this are why we are all so proud of our community and area.

Let’s all congratulate Leila Waith our 2026 Aces spirit Winner 🏆

Well done Leila and thank you for everything you contributed to our club this year.

🏆🏆 GRAND FINAL WINNERS 🏆🏆

What a way to finish the season!

A huge congratulations to our Aces 14/15 and Under 18s Division 1 teams on incredible Grand Final wins 💙

We are so proud of the hard work, dedication, teamwork you’ve shown all season. What an achievement today, it’s also been so nice to see you all playing together week in and week out having fun having a laugh, you all should be really proud of yourself.

A big thank you and congratulations to our opponents on the day , Bears and Forest Lake, for two fantastic games and for helping make the Grand Finals so special.

As a small club we have lots of our families and friends who have family play for other clubs so a huge congratulation to Raiders and Forest Lake teams on GF wins as well in other divisions and age groups.

How good !

To our former Aces families and players who rocked up to cheer us on thanks so much was so good to see you there and the girls loved seeing all the support from their community.

To our coaches a huge thanks for navigating these games, there are often lots of emotion and feeling so well done for helping guide the teams though this season but especially today.

Thank you to Western Districts Netball Association for a great GF day , thanks for all the work you all do to make the day run smoothly.

But lastly a huge thanks to our players for an incredible year! We are really proud of you all.

This season and our club would not be possible without the continued support of our sponsors Protein Supplies Australia and EVACO can’t express our thanks enough to these legends !

We are blessed with a amazing group of young woman and families representing our club and area and we hope you enjoyed the season 🙏🏼

Grand finals can be hard to come by so enjoy this.

GRAND FINAL WEEK

Exciting week for our club with both our teams making Grand finals.

As we get closer we wanted to remind our families and friends of some ways we can be the best supporters for our young people and also the oppositions young people.

* Cheer positively for everyone
* Leave the coaching to the coach – avoid giving instructions from the sideline.
* Praise effort just as much as performance
* Keep it fun – children should enjoy playing netball
* Respect the opposition – They are young people as well
* Respect umpires and officials – Any issues talk to a club official, and we will follow up with you or for you
* No sideline criticism of either team– avoid comments about missed passes, shots, turnovers or mistakes from us or the other team.
* Allow mistakes – mistakes are how young players learn and develop.
* Adults, manage your emotions – your child notices how you react to wins, losses and mistakes.

Most importantly remember who the sport is for – the child, not the parent.

We can only control our own behaviour and as a club we are very clear and firm on these standards for our club and families.

Let's show our young people and community our best side no matter if we win, loose or draw this weekend.

💙 OUR CLUB MESSAGE FOR THIS FINALS:

We want our sideline to be a place where every child feels encouraged, respected and proud to play.

Inala Aces

Many cultures. One club.

Two teams. One positive sideline.

Thank you to everyone and cant wait to see you support our crew this Saturday.

STATE AGE TRIALS

Any Ace crew interested or have questions ?

Please have a chat to us this week at training , we can try and support with fund raising and answer any questions you have .

This year the comp will be held in Toowoomba so it’s a lot more manageable for families and players.

Would be great to see some Aces girls representing and having a go at this next level.

Don’t let the cost put you off , we will 💯 help support your goals of playing and help raise money if you’re serious and committed to participating.

NEW COURT

A big thank you to the local council for the re surfaced courts .

We held our first training this afternoon on the new surface.

Thanks to for making this a priority for our community and our club to benefit from.

It makes a real difference for our club to have a training base that now meets standards for our teams.

We can’t wait to finish our season off strong with 2 grand finals for our teams.

MINI ACES NETBALL PROGRAM

As part of our plan to have a self funded club so we don’t rely solely on fees and sponsorship we are in the process of launching our “ Mini Aces “ program .

What is Mini Aces?

Mini Aces will be an affordable program run in school terms after hours for primary school students who might want to try netball in a more affordable and low stress environment.

It will also give our older Aces players an avenue to use their skills and qualification from the netball Academy to gain work in the sports arena for our talented local netballers.

Stay tuned for details as we move towards launching a trial program in term 4 before a launch in term 1 - 2027.

Mini Aces hope to build on future little netballers skills, communication and sense of connection all while having fun and learning the basics of netball.

Thank you for supporting the next chapter of our club.

END OF SEASON

Know a business or can you spare a few $$ ?

Inala Aces would great apprecite any support as we come to the end of the season .

Due to our club model we use all funds to subsidize family costs.

This means we finish every season at $0.00 in our bank 🏦

Any support is greatly appreciated to help us end the year with a small celebration for our teams.

We are also in the process of developing a model we hope can help make the club more sustainable and affordable for families while also potentially offering some employment for our players.

We can’t wait to share with you when the season ends.

Thanks to everyone who helped as last year , this year and counties to support in anyway they can .
