Briz Hockey

It is with sad news I post that long term Kedron Wavell and BHMG committee representative Ian Harcla has lost his fight with cancer and passed away yesterday afternoon. Tex was President later Patron of Kedron Wavell Hockey Club and long term director of BHMG, I would like to acknowledge Ian’s commitment to Brisbane Hockey and celebrate Ian’s contribution.
I first met Ian back in 2012 when we filmed the history of the Kedron Wavel Hockey Club.

HI EVERYONE - we will have live coverage of the PL1 Preliminary Final tommorow at 4.30pm Easts v Commercial to see who will meet Redcliffe in the Grand Final. Sorry this is the only game we have as the others are on SHC2. Stay safe in the heat and drink lots of water.

In the PL2 semi finals again it is the top 3 teams that will progress Easts continue to show they are the favourites and are straight through, Kedron and University will sort out their opponent next week.

Two incredible games in the PL1 semi finals yesterday have left the top 3 teams to battle it out for the title. Redcliffe are through to the final and now the question is will it be Easts or Commercial that will meet them there.

This Saturday we have the 2 games at EASTS live and free for your to enjoy - the top 2 play in PL1 and one will go straight to the final. In the other game either Commercial or University will be packing their bags for the last time this season. Join the action from 3pm on the BWHA page.
