Hi Kanga family! I’ve been taking some time away from Kangaland recently and am just jumping back on the admin train 🚂 Thank you for your patience as I reply to all the wonderful people who have reached out during the break. Classes will resume late April 2025 and I’m so excited to be back boogying with you all again soon. More info to come!

Happy Galentine’s to all the beautiful Mummas who came along to classes this week 🩷 We had a cute ‘message/note swap’ to gift each other with words of appreciation and inspiration. There’s nothing more special than connecting with other Mums who are going through the same stage of life with you. They always know exactly what to say 🩷
OH! And we definitely ate chocolates too 🍫🤤

Have you come across the 5,4,3,2,1 grounding technique? I remember using something similar in my early postpartum days 🩷
It’s a simple but effective tool that uses the senses to help you feel anchored in times of stress, anxiety and overwhelm.
This is also a great one to use with your little person to help them too!

SPECIAL GUEST 🩷🩷 and her Kanga Joey in class today!
Bec was my Kangatrainer when I first had my Bub. She exudes such positivity and joy, it was such a pleasure to have her join today! Of course we included her infamous ‘Dance the Night’ choreo and lots of the elements that made her classes such a hoot! Thanks for everything you did starting me on this rewarding journey of Kangatraining 🩷

It can be a lonely world navigating the ‘mum friend dating scene’. It can be awkward for even the most social mum butterflies.
But there is no doubt about it, parenting is a whole lot more manageable and enjoyable when you can share the load, the ups, the downs, the wins, the challenges, the coffees, the chais, the tantrums, the witching hours, the teething, those tired days and those amazing milestones with friends.
You don’t have to socialise at Kanga. It’s cool to turn up, do your workout, have a blast with your bubs and go home without having to make a peep.
But if you’re on the hunt for your tribe, it’s what we do best.
We finish each class with a ‘circle chat’. It’s our way of going beyond the small talk and actually getting to know each other. Each week we learn a little more about you and your bubs if you’re feeling up to it and it gives you a chance to get to know the other mums and babies is a really natural, supportive, judgement-free environment.
You don’t have to put yourself out there. You just have to get there. The rest will just happen.
And you’ll be so glad you came.
