Round 4 Recap | Willowbank Raceway
Unfortunately, this weekend wasn’t the result we were chasing.
Friday’s testing gave us plenty of confidence, with some encouraging passes and strong reaction times that had us heading into race day feeling positive. Saturday started on the right foot with a solid qualifying performance, but once rounds got underway, we simply couldn’t put all the pieces together. Finishing the weekend with 1 round win from 3 races is disappointing, especially after back to back event victories, but that’s the nature of motorsport. Every meeting is an opportunity to learn, and we’ll take plenty away from this weekend as we prepare for the next round.
None of this would be possible without the incredible people behind me. A massive thank you to my dad for the countless hours of work, preparation and dedication that go into keeping the car at the track every race meeting. Thank you to my family back home for their ongoing support, and to my best friend Sienna for always being in my corner through the highs and the lows.
A massive thank you also goes to the entire Willowbank Raceway team. Your commitment and hard work, especially in the cold conditions throughout the weekend, ensure we all have the opportunity to do what we love. It is greatly appreciated.
Finally, thank you to all of my sponsors for your continued trust and support. While this weekend didn’t go our way, we’ll regroup, work harder than ever, and come back ready to fight at the next round.
