We've got a new coach joining Future Athletics, and we're pretty chuffed about it.

Tim Parravicini is taking on long jump and triple jump. A quick look at his record:

— 5th at the World Junior Championships
— Top 10 at the Commonwealth Games (twice)
— Australian National Champion in 2002 and 2007
— Personal best of 8.18m

He's competed at the level a lot of our kids dream about. Now he's coaching it.

Sessions start Monday, June 1 — 4:30 to 5:30pm at UQ St Lucia. $10 per athlete.

We’re beyond pumped to announce that Aries Merritt, Olympic Gold Medallist, World Record Holder in the Men’s 110m Hurdles, and one of the greatest hurdlers of all time, is officially joining Future Athletics as a mentor for our athletes!

Aries isn’t just good, he’s legendary: he won Olympic gold in the 110m hurdles at the 2012 London Games, and set the still-standing world record of 12.80 seconds later that season, a mark that made him the fastest hurdler in history.

Through this elite mentorship experience, Aries will offer:

• 1:1 FaceTime calls to deep dive into training, recovery, race tactics, programming and high-performance mindset
• Customised programming, drills and recovery plans to level up your training consistently
• Video review and technical feedback to sharpen your mechanics and ex*****on
• In-person support and mentorship at National Championships, guidance when it matters most
