Rochedale Ravens JAFC

After a few weather related false starts, we're excited to finally welcome Brisbane Lions young gun Logan Morris to Rochedale tomorrow night!

Logan will be joining our U8 Ravens for a special training session, giving our younger players the chance to learn from one of the AFL's rising stars and hear about his journey to the top level.

Opportunities like this don't come around often, and we can't wait to see the smiles on the kids faces.

ROUND 5 RESULTS

It was a fantastic weekend for the Ravens, with our U11 Mixed and U11 Girls teams both recording impressive wins against Jindalee.

Our U11 Girls produced a remarkable come from behind victory after Jindalee kicked the first two goals of the game. The girls never stopped believing, worked their way back into the contest and finished strongly to claim an 18-14 win. A special mention to Jasmine, who slotted an outstanding goal on the run from the boundary in the closing stages to help secure the victory.

Our U11 Mixed team also celebrated a memorable 39-34 win in their first match after regrading. Moving into a new division, the team rose to the challenge and delivered one of their best all round performances of the season. They never stopped competing, stood up for one another when the game was on the line and found a way to get the job done in a thrilling finish.

It wasn't just our U11s flying high either. Our junior teams all represented the club brilliantly across the weekend, while our Auskick Play participants enjoyed a fun filled Ravens derby between the Blue and Yellow teams.

Congratulations to all players, coaches, volunteers and families for another great weekend representing the Ravens.

Another massive weekend ahead for the Ravens!

Friday night lights for our U11 Girls away at Jindalee, followed by a full day of footy at Rochedale on Saturday 💛💙

This weekend will also be the first time both our U11 Girls and U11 Mixed teams come up against Jindalee, while on Saturday we’re excited to welcome both Jindalee and the Pirates to Rochedale for their first visit to the Nest
