With the Belgian 🇧🇪 road calendar winding down, DRP Coaching athlete Megan Russell has only one UCI race remaining in 2026; the iconic Binche-Chimay-Binche. This typically Belgian 🇧🇪 race attracts a world class field and was last year won by the amazing Lorena Wiebes. Wish Megan and the KFH Cycling Team girls all the best for their last UCI hit out 💪

How was this so long ago?

Thank you Facebook memories for the jolt and reminder 😳

This was such a fun opportunity.

AusCycling - Queensland more of this please.

Both rider and coach were deeply frustrated to see the late change of course for the Australian Masters Road Race Championships last weekend (full credit to AusCycling for securing this change under such trying circumstances). Despite this, and with Richard dreaming of some hills, it was still a super strong ride on the day to secure 8th place in the competitive MMAS-9 category. Richard’s level of attention to the training and racing process is something all riders should aspire to. Congrats on a fantastic ride Richard!

Fantastic result today for Paul Newman taking 4th in the Australian Criterium Champs in a quality MMAS 4 field. Road race is tomorrow and Paul is clearly on form! 🚀

Awesome racing for some of the DRP Coaching crew last weekend!

Paul Newman takes out B Grade🥇 in the Ted Alexander Memorial Criterium, hosted by Hamilton Wheelers CC.

Richard Watson with a solid third place 🥉 in D Grade at the Glass House Graded Road Race, hosted by Sunshine Coast CC.

Paul and Richard back up this weekend at the Australian Masters Road Nationals at the Sunshine Coast.

Megan Russell continues to improve and impress in Belgium 🇧🇪 with a solid bunch finish in the Bornem Elite 1.15 Kermesse on a wet and tricky course.

Tony Mills and Andrew Russell battled it out in The Caves Annual Handicap Race, hosted by Rockhampton CC. Andrew casually broke his all time 2 and 3 minute power records on the day!

Shout out to the other DRP athletes who spent the weekend getting the work done!
