🚲 1,700km. 21 days. Brisbane to Kosciuszko. What a ride!

It was great to see Stephen back in the store recently and hear all about his incredible biking trip from Brisbane to Kosciuszko.

Travelling with a group of mates, Stephen covered nearly 1,700km over 21 days, following the NSW coastline before heading inland towards Thredbo and Kosciuszko. 🙌

Stephen bought his Orbea Muga 20 especially for the trip. As a first-time e-biker, he wanted something reliable and comfortable enough to ride at least 90-100km per day, day after day, capable of tackling the rougher bush and beach terrain along the way, and able to carry all his gear and still climb easily.

The verdict? The Muga didn’t miss a beat. ⚡🚲

Stephen enjoyed the experience so much that he’s getting ready for his next adventure!

🚲 Twelve years of riding Riese & Muller and plenty more adventures still to come.

Helen has been part of the EBB story almost from the beginning. Back in November 2014, she bought one of the very first Bosch-powered eBikes we imported into Australia — a Riese & Müller Culture Rohloff affectionately named “Big Red.”

Then came “Ice Baby” in 2017, another Culture Rohloff that has carried her through years of daily commuting and riding adventures.

Now, as Helen heads towards retirement, Riese & Müller number three is on the way: a new Homage Rohloff, equipped with the latest Bosch Gen5 Performance Line CX Smart System, an 800Wh battery and 250Wh range extender, and offroad ready. ⚡

What we love about Helen’s story is that these bikes have been an integral part of her life. They’ve been ridden to work, taken on holidays, explored bush tracks and part of many adventures.

As Helen puts it:

❤️ “As I head into my 60s and impending retirement, I want to keep enjoying the wind on my face and the ability to head out on a bush track with confidence… And my newest R&M will carry me there.”

Congrats Matthew — the proud owner of one of the first Amflow TL Carbon eBikes in Australia! 🎉🚲

Matthew plans to put his new Amflow to good use commuting to and from work, building up his fitness and blowing out the cobwebs at the end of each day. And with a seriously hilly commute through the hinterland behind Coffs Harbour, the powerful Avinox M2 motor should make those climbs a whole lot more enjoyable! ⛰️

The Amflow TL Carbon is the first model in the Amflow range specifically equipped for commuting and touring. It still brings plenty of performance, with a lightweight carbon frame, 120mm dual suspension and electronic shifting, but adds the everyday practicality you want from a serious commuter.

Unusually for a carbon eBike, it also comes ready to carry gear with a MIK HD rear rack rated to 27kg, plus mudguards, lights, a kickstand and other commuter essentials.

September is here, and it’s a great time to get out and explore the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail! 🚲🌿

With 161km of car-free riding, beautiful scenery and friendly country towns to stop, stay and explore along the way, the BVRT is one of Queensland’s great eBike adventures.

Last weekend, some of our riders from the Orange 360 put their long-distance legs into gear and tackled the full trail from Wulkuraka to Yarraman. A fantastic effort — well done, crew! 👏🚲 (& thanks for the pics, Nev 🙏)

What a great shot of Carolyn and her new Orbea Kemen Adv 10! 🚲⛰️

This was Day 1 after collecting it! Carolyn headed straight up Mt Mellum near Landsborough to put her new ride through its paces. Looks like a brilliant ride — we might have to try that one ourselves! 😄

Carolyn had already clocked an impressive 1,800km on her Dyson Adventure folder before deciding it was time for something a little more serious for her adventures.

The Orbea Kemen Adv 10 was the perfect next step — a great-looking, lighter-weight eBike with a powerful Shimano EP8 motor and quality components to match Carolyn’s adventurous riding.

When Michael’s other half got her ADO Air 20 Ultra, he was perfectly happy riding his road bike. 🚴

He’s still riding his road bike, but… the fun and convenience of electric power, a low-maintenance belt drive and a bike that folds up for their upcoming trip away made a pretty convincing case for adding another bike to the garage. 😄⚡
