Season 2 at Park Ridge

We made A Grade finals against Fusion. The game ended in a drop off and unfortunately we fell short. Super proud of our team who we could field and a big thanks to all our supporters who came through!!

Tara Brown Tournament

We had multiple players from LWC represent One Touch, unfortunately fell short during the tournament but we love to see our players competing in more competitive touch

QLD State Cup

Kabir represented UQ at QLD state cup, awesome to see our players playing at the highest level!

QLD United Nations

We had multiple players from LWC represent the Cook Islands at QUNCC over the weekend! Both men’s and women’s made it to Semi Finals and unfortunately fell short in both games. Well done to all players!

Braven also represented Te Ao Maori making it to Finals against Indigenous, unfortunately came short but played awesome all weekend🙏🏾

QLD All Nations

We had the baby of our team, Mayson, represent New Zealand Barbarians at All Nations over the weekend, unfortunately his team fell short also but proud of our little bro out there and getting stuck in!

Ashtyn was just selected to represent the Brisbane Cobras U20s Touch team 🏉

That’s the end of our year for touch, we have a lot of players heading to Bundaberg Cup with One Touch in February and LWC will be leaving Park Ridge to a new comp for 2026🩵🤍👆🏽

Achievements outside of Touch for our players:

Maia Andre & Mango completed Paladin
Colin went all in to his business
Gayle won a premiership with her Broncos sisters and was named Five-Eigth of the year
Saraya competed in her first CrossFit competition and placed 2nd at Tribe Games with her CrossFit Taris sisters
Chelsey competed at her first CrossFit competition, was named Premier paddler of the year for Coomera Dragons & was selected for the Queensland Dragon Boating Team
Te & Ari played in the Maoris Rugby League tournament for Tuwharetoa and went to Fiji cup for Oztag representing Realones

Our team is full of such go getters and I’m so proud of everyone!
