Stay vigilant crew!! Its so easy to get a bit complacent and miss something we normally wouldn't. The colder mornings - the great winter flying conditions - the excitement of a new model.
Look after your club mates and if you see something out of place, pull them up before theirs an incident!!
If its you that's been pulled up - don't get sh*tty about it - be stoked someone is looking out for you. Its better than the same onlooker loading you in a car to go to the docs - or worse.
Everyone wants to fly tomorrow.

Onto outdoor free flight out to the Coominya field Sunday for the Scale Champs!!
Excellent weather provided perfect flying conditions - with light winds making for some great flights.

From the top!!! A bit of an event recap on Festival of Aeromodelling - Inglewood 2027 from the eyes of Carl Bizon.
Friday at the pilots dinner, David and Gemma Garle - were not only nominated at the yearly MAAA conference - but ultimately awarded the service medal from the MAAA. Carl spoke on it at the dinner and it’s a bit of a proud moment for the Garle family.
As Aaron is obviously our very own MAAQ President he was a bit embarrassed himself and distanced himself from the process but it’s a huge honor to the family nonetheless for their efforts towards and in amongst aeromodelling, and despite not chasing accolades the whole crew are very worthy of the award none the less!!!
I’ll take the wrap on the knuckles if necessary but I think the whole Garle family deserve a huge cheers from everyone, and in particular the state members of QLD having an event held like this in our own backyard.
We hope to see more of our locals out to Inglewood for 2027!!!!
