As a male coach in female sport the conversation about menstruation happens often. It shouldn't be awkward or embarrassing, obviously the reporter was not expecting this response and good on Lydia for guiding him through the rest of the interview.
As womens high performance sports grows and grows, I look forward to seeing more research on the effects around injury prevention and overall performance management.

Great first session with the yr 11 excellence program! Awesome to see a northside SHS fully engaged with the female rugby pathway!

Extras with Mina doing some speed technique work and getting in some high speed meters! What a night for it!

Loved working with the boys over the last 2yrs! What a great result for the whole school!

We are so proud of the whole STC Rugby program. STC bought our very own MCM Coaching Mentoring Fitness coach_mentor_fitness to run their whole school pre-season and once again we see why

A special mention to Riley brown for taking the initiative to go above and beyond to improve the quality of their program and strive for the next level for not only the coaches but their players well done mate.

Also we want to congratulate Liam Walker & Ryan Nicholass who both have made the QLD school boys team. Awesome effort lads.

At the start of the year Nat approached me to help get some of her speed back after successive injuries over the last couple of years.
After an excellent debut AON season with UQ she has now been invited to join the Queensland Academy of Sport 7s program!

Great sesh this morning working on Attack and Defensive footwork with the big rig Jonte Connolly Brothers Premier grade player and Iconz Rugby, Training & Sportswear Sevens player!
