Have you ever felt like your team knows exactly where it needs to go… but somehow, nothing is moving?

The vision is clear. The conversations have happened. The effort is there. And yet, it still feels like pushing a roller-coaster over its tipping point.

Sometimes, the answer isn’t another reminder or another internal meeting. Sometimes, people need to hear the message differently- a well-timed interruption that helps them pause, reconnect and see what’s possible.

I call this 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗶𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗶𝘁 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁.

The spark alone won’t create lasting change. But it can generate the momentum leaders and teams need to begin moving forward again.

I explore this idea in my latest newsletter and share why meaningful change should never feel cookie-cutter.

Comment 𝗠𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗨𝗠 below, and I’ll send you a copy.

One thing I've been reminded of lately is how easy it is to admire the outcome and forget everything that came before it. We celebrate the promotion, the confident leader, the successful team, or the breakthrough moment.

What we don't always see are the difficult conversations, the setbacks, the self-doubt, or the countless small decisions that made those moments possible. I've come to believe that leadership isn't just about recognising where people are today. It's about appreciating the journey that got them there.

The same is true for ourselves. Sometimes we move on to the next goal so quickly that we forget to acknowledge how far we've already come.

✨ What part of your journey deserves a little more recognition today?

Transformation begins when leaders recognise that what got them here may not get them where they need to go next.

As environments change, leadership must evolve too.

Adaptive leaders are willing to challenge old assumptions, embrace new perspectives, and grow beyond familiar ways of thinking.

Progress is not always measured by financial results alone.

Often, the most meaningful growth is seen in people, culture, and capability.

What discomfort in your leadership might actually be a sign that transformation is underway?

Many people overthink decisions.

Waiting for the “right” choice.

The perfect moment.

The guarantee that it will all work out.

But that is not how growth works.

Not making a decision is still a decision.

It just keeps you where you are.

And the truth is, most choices are not permanent.

You can decide.

Learn.

Adjust.

And choose again.

Leadership is not about getting every decision right the first time.

It is about being willing to move, reflect, and recalibrate.

Because progress comes from action, not perfection.

✨ Where might you be waiting for the perfect decision instead of making the next one?

What if always having the answer is holding your team back?

When leaders keep stepping in, teams start stepping back. Confidence drops, dependence grows and the leader becomes overloaded.

Great leadership isn’t about having all the answers.

It’s about asking better questions and building capability.

In my latest INFINITE Leadership newsletter, I explore how to quiet the “Advice Monster” and help your team think for themselves.

Comment CAPABILITY and I’ll send it to you.

What if success and wellbeing didn’t have to compete?

On Tuesday, 28 July, I’ll be joining the Kenrose Collective for its founding event: How to Have Your Cake and Eat It Too.

Over coffee, cake and honest conversation, we’ll explore self-care, wellbeing, balance and the realities of modern life.

Expect practical ideas, meaningful connection and a warm space to reflect on what a life that truly works for you could look like.

The world of leadership is changing faster than ever.

New technologies.

Changing workforce expectations.

Economic uncertainty.

Increasing complexity.

The challenge is not the disruption itself.

The real risk is leading today’s challenges with outdated mindsets, old assumptions, and strategies that no longer serve the people and environments we lead.

Great leaders are not those who resist change.

They are the ones who remain curious enough to question what they know, courageous enough to evolve, and adaptable enough to lead what comes next.

Continuous improvement requires us to regularly ask:

What worked before, but no longer works now?

What do I need to unlearn in order to grow?

Because leadership is not about holding on to what made us successful yesterday.

It is about developing the awareness, agility, and capability needed for tomorrow.

✨ What is one leadership belief or habit you have had to rethink as the world around you changes?

Leadership is at its best when service is greater than self.

In moments of challenge, it can be easy to protect our pride, defend our position, or hold tightly to being right.

Nobility in leadership is different.

It is the ability to stay open to truth, lead with humility, and keep the focus on what serves the greater purpose.

When leaders choose dignity over ego, trust grows and better outcomes become possible.

Where might humility create a stronger result in your leadership this week?
