⭐️CLIENT HIGHLIGHT⭐️

Check out this awesome little rider finishing up her training course at Samford Pony Club! Just one week into jumping, and her progress has been incredible. She’s already nailed key skills like maintaining good posture, keeping her eyes up over the jump, coming straight onto the jump rather than at an angle, and keeping a consistent trot to help the distance flow smoothly.

I’m so proud of both her and her little pony—what a team!

CLIENT SPOTLIGHT ⭐️

Today we kept things simple with Hugo, focusing on helping him hold a better contact. He has a tendency to carry his head below the vertical and tuck it into his chest. While this position may look aesthetically pleasing, it actually strengthens his front end while neglecting his hindquarters.

Our goal today was to work on lifting and pushing him from behind. You can see in the snippets that Hugo was a little fidgety, with some head jolts. This is completely understandable as he adjusts to engaging new muscles and moving his head away from the position he’s comfortable in. It’s a bit uncomfortable for him at first, but that’s all part of building strength and balance.

I’m so proud of Hugo’s effort and how well my client stayed engaged and worked with him! Every step forward counts. 💪🐴

I’m back from holidays and straight into lessons! This week was our first back with Zeus, but I’ve already been working with some of my amazing clients and their horses. In this video, you’ll see two of my clients making an incredible comeback after some time off, all while building that connection with Zeus. We focused on staying positive, keeping him supple, and really making every transformation count. Over the next few weeks, our goal is to focus on exercises that will bring his muscles back and help him regain his fitness. 💪

This time, I thought I’d leave the sound on so you can hear everything—see if you can count how many times I said “give him a pat” and “good boy” haha! 😆

I still have availability for lessons on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Whether you’re young and want to learn through fun games, older and need things slowed down and simplified, or an experienced rider looking to refine your skills or try out some showjumping, I can cater to all levels (except advanced dressage). 🐴
