This Exercise Right Week, we chatted with some of our Labrador clients about their recent exercise journeys.
From feeling stronger and moving with more confidence, to improving mobility and overall wellbeing, their stories are a great reminder that exercise can make a real difference at any age and stage of life ❤️
One piece of advice that came up again and again? Just start. You don’t have to be fit, confident, or experienced to begin - you just need to take the first step 🙌

Their answers focused on staying independent, keeping up with the grandkids, feeling stronger, improving balance, staying social, and continuing to do the things they love every day ❤️

The real question: can our instructors actually count to 5? 👀
We challenged the Pilates instructors at Hiya Health Paddington to accurately count to 5 while cueing each other through reformer Pilates movements!
How do you think the team did? Let us know in the comments 👇
It looks smooth and simple… until you’re the one giving it a go!
To celebrate International Pilates Day, our Ipswich team jumped into a Pilates challenge and had a great time experiencing the control, strength, and precision that make Pilates so effective.
It was a fun reminder of just how much focus and coordination goes into every movement.
What do you think… how did the team go? 💪

Meet Mel and his Exercise Physiolgist Calum. Mel has a history of chronic back pain, through prescribed exercise based sessions he has been able to manage his pain and is still deadlifing, working and entertaining the grandkids. As well as keeping our staff entertiained too! We're so pleased to have seen Mel make great progress from week one, well done Mel!
Meet Judith and Mandy, two clients at Hiya Health who have found strength, support and motivation training side by side.
Judith had been experiencing ongoing swelling in her legs and feet for several years, which was impacting her movement and confidence. With the guidance of her Exercise Physiologist, Lara, she has seen significant improvements in how she moves and feels - all within just a few weeks of consistent training.
Mandy first came to Hiya Health looking for support after a broken leg, with a clear goal in mind - to get back to running around with her grandchildren, getting up and down off the ground, and lifting them with confidence. Since starting her sessions with Lara, she’s made great progress and is enjoying feeling stronger and more capable.
Together, Judith and Mandy bring energy and encouragement to every session - motivating each other to show up, put in the work, and celebrate every win along the way.

Join us for a mic’d up session with Hamish and his Exercise Physiologist Lewis at our Burleigh Heads location.
Hamish is an absolute superstar who genuinely loves his gym sessions. Each session is full of energy, laughter, memorable moments, and the occasional dance break. A great example of how enjoyable and engaging exercise can be when tailored to the individual.
At Hiya Health, we’re passionate about making movement engaging and accessible - because building physical capacity doesn’t always have to feel clinical. Sometimes, it’s about creating an environment where people can move with confidence, enjoyment, and a sense of connection.
