All the best to our Open squad who are currently putting in the hard yards down in Thredbo on a training camp. Special thanks to Coaches Josh and Phoebe for delivering some painful sets at altitude. Have fun team!

A strong campaign for the East Brisbane Squad across the 2026 Australian Age Championships, with the team delivering consistent performances over 8 days of racing.

Across 8 swimmers, we recorded 29 individual swims and 9 relay swims, highlighted by 8 personal bests, 1 silver medal, and 1 relay medal. The group achieved 4 A Final appearances, 2 B Finals, and 4 top-10 finishes, showing competitiveness at the national level.

Notably, 5 swimmers competed at this level for the first time, making the results even more impressive and a great sign for the future of the program.

There were also plenty of valuable learnings across the meet, from race ex*****on and handling pressure to managing multi-day competition, which will set the team up well for continued improvement moving forward.

Today was FLY DAY. Well done to Jake, Finn, Eric, Henry & Charlie for their events. Tough to finish the meet with a 200 fly but Charlie and Henry both swam PB times this morning. Well done!
