What an incredible start to for our YDA dancers! ✨

Today, Soraya and Harli took to the stage in the Intermediate Contemporary section, and we couldn’t be prouder of both of them.

These two dancers have worked incredibly hard in the lead-up to this competition, showing dedication, resilience, and commitment throughout their training.

A huge congratulations to Harli for placing in the Top 8 in such a large and competitive section! 🌟 Your hard work, perseverance, and continual improvement have truly paid off. We are so proud of the confidence and artistry you brought to the stage today.

We also want to recognise Soraya for her beautiful performance. Competitions are only one moment in a much bigger journey, and we are incredibly proud of the courage, growth, and commitment she has shown throughout her preparation. Watching her continue to develop as a dancer has been a joy, and we know there are many exciting opportunities ahead.

We celebrate not only achievements, but also the effort, determination, and love of dance that each student brings to their training every day.

✨ Jazz Technique & Choreography – Adult Workshop with Grace Smith ✨

We’re excited to welcome Grace to Yue Dance Academy for a special 4-week Adult Jazz workshop!

Introducing Grace ✨

Professional dancer with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines (Serenade & Adventure of the Seas)
Diploma of Dance Performance & Teaching
With 16 years of training, Grace brings strong technique, performance quality, and real industry experience into the studio.

This workshop is designed for beginner to intermediate adult dancers — perfect for anyone looking to build confidence, improve technique, and enjoy dancing in a supportive environment.
Each class includes:
• 45 minutes of jazz technique
• 45 minutes of choreography

📅 4-Week Series (2026): Starting May 1
