💙🏐 RAIDERS NETBALL CLUB | END OF SEASON PRESENTATION 🏐💙

What an afternoon… and what a season!

Our End of Season Presentation was the perfect way to finish an incredible year together — an afternoon filled with fun, laughter, proud moments, celebrations, dancing and a few happy tears along the way.

But Raiders has always been about so much more than netball. It’s about the friendships made, the confidence built, the teammates who cheer each other on, the coaches who give so much of themselves, and the families who stand on the sidelines week after week.

It was so special to celebrate every single one of our girls — from our youngest players to our seniors — and recognise their achievements, growth and commitment throughout the season.

Congratulations to all of our teams, individual award winners and Service Award recipients. Your dedication and contribution to Raiders is something to be incredibly proud of.

And to our sponsors, coaches, managers, committee, volunteers and families — thank you. A club like ours simply wouldn’t be possible without the amazing people behind the scenes who give their time, energy and heart to make it all happen.

As we look back through these photos, we hope you see what we see… a club full of friendship, laughter, determination, support and so many wonderful memories.

What a year. What a team. What a family.

To the dads who wear so many hats — coach, umpire, taxi driver, trainer, waterboy, nutritionist, biggest supporter and chief joke teller! 😂

Thank you for the early mornings, the sideline cheering, the lifts to training, the extra practice, the encouragement after a tough game and everything you do behind the scenes to help our girls thrive. 🏐💙💛

💙💛 TEAM SPORT IS A TEAM EFFORT! 💛💙

When you enrol your child in team sport, please expect to play a part off the court too. 🏐

Raiders Netball Club is 100% volunteer-run — no one gets paid. It takes a huge team of volunteers behind the scenes and on game day to give our kids the opportunity to play, learn, compete and have fun.

It’s also important to understand where your registration fees go.

For example, from a $445 registration fee:
➡️ $298 goes to Netball Queensland and RNA
➡️ $147 comes back to Raiders to contribute towards things such as court hire, lights and equipment.

That $147 doesn’t fund paid staff or cover everything required to run a club. Everything else relies on volunteers, fundraising, sponsorships and volunteers successfully applying for grants.

There are so many ways you can help:

🔥 Help on the BBQ at Raiders or RNA
💙 Help with fundraising, grants, sponsorships, communications and much more!
