🐴 This National Volunteer Week, we recognise and celebrate the volunteers who help make our club and competitions possible with a spotlight on Far North Equestrian Group. Volunteers are the heart of our clubs, generously giving their time, skills and energy to support our riders, events and community.

✨ Ashleigh has been an FNEG member for the past four years and is always ready to assist with arena setup and writing. As the club’s Media Officer, she also helps keep our members connected and informed.
✨ Joanne has also been a valued member for four years and generously volunteers full competition days writing for judges. In 2026, Jo has stepped into the role of Club Treasurer.
✨ Tracy has been a dedicated volunteer at FNEG events for several years. Tracy is often one of the first to arrive, helping organise arena setup on Fridays before competitions. Since late 2024, Tracy has also volunteered her time as an EA Steward.
✨ Lauren joined FNEG dressage competitions in 2023 and quickly became an integral part of the club. Before taking on the role of Club President at the end of 2023, Lauren regularly assisted with arena setup and writing. Today, she continues those roles while also managing countless behind-the-scenes tasks including grant applications, competition organisation, entries, programs, tablet setup and more.
✨ Erin has contributed enormously to the club over many years. From setting up and dismantling arenas, gear checks and writing for judges, to previously serving as Club President, More recently, Erin has also taken on the important role of preparing and screeding the competition arenas prior to competition weekends.

For small regional clubs, volunteers are essential, your dedication and love for the sport make a lasting impact on our equestrian community, and we sincerely thank you for everything you do. πŸ’™πŸ΄
