That's a wrap on Term 2 across all our locations!!
Sending a huge thank you to all the amazing mums & bubs who've shared their mornings with us this term! It’s been so special sharing your motherhood journey with you, swapping tips, and watching your little ones blossom and also watching YOU blossom!
This term, we say goodbye to a few long term and second time mums. It's always an emotional time for us as trainers . It is such a privilege to watch everyone's babies grow.
Today, there were all the feels as a long term mumma finished up after an epic 18 months of Kangatraining with us. Tessa's first class was all the way back on 8 January 2025, and from then she signed up to unlimited classes - joining us at Kangatraining three times a week for most of 2025. Her little cherub went from tiny bub to walking and talking little girl during her time with us at Kanga, which is always so special to watch!
Wishing all the mums finishing up all the best for what lies ahead. We hope that you take beautiful memories of your time at Kangatraining with you 🥰
For everyone else - we'll see you next week at our Term make up classes and then in Term 3 for lots more Kanga fun! Don't forget to get your song requests in!

It’s hard to say goodbye, but it’s time to celebrate! After 3 amazing years of taking our Kenmore Kangatraining class, trainer Mel will be running her last class in Kenmore on 18 June.
has been running classes in Kenmore since January 2020 when trainer Di started up classes at the Kenmore Uniting Church. Since then, we've helped hundreds of mums from the 4069 area (and beyond!) meet other local mums, feel more confident about babywearing and enjoy a fun return to exercise class!
We are sad that we will no longer have a Kenmore class, however our Sumner and Sherwood classes will be continuing and Di hopes to welcome our Kenmore mums to those locations for more of the Kanga fun everyone knows and loves!!
For those who haven't been ready to commit to trial a class yet, we are offering a special - 3 for $30 for the last 3 classes in Kenmore! Join Mel to celebrate all the fun, the beautiful Kanga village and make last memories! The last class will be followed by an optional lunch at Method to the Madness.

In celebration of Mother's Day, we chatted about the good, the stressful and the exciting! For some mums, they will spend the day sharing it with other generations, and for other new mums it might be a process of reminding the significant others in their lives that babies can't go and get presents from the shops by themselves!! (Hint Dad - you're responsible until your child is of age!!). We chatted all the things that we hope for ... so if you are organising a special day for a mum in your life, here are some things that the mums in class wanted!
The Gift of Sleep: Arrange for a "sleep in" or a dedicated nap time to catch up on rest.
At-Home Spa: Create a relaxing atmosphere with a bubble bath, soothing skincare, or a gentle massage at home.
Quiet Time: A decent break or a quiet afternoon to read, watch a favourite movie, or just enjoy silence can be incredibly rejuvenating.
Breakfast in Bed: this one came with the disclaimer that it needs to be edible 😂
Photo memories: Have you taken pictures of Mum and Bub lately?
Our Friday class were treated to a small gift each as a reminder to take some time out for themselves this weekend, and I received some beautiful gifts myself!!! 🥰
Wishing everyone a beautiful weekend. We hope that everyone can find a moment for themselves amongst the chaos 😍

Winter is coming! For some mums, this will be their first winter as a parent and it's normal to wonder how to dress your baby as the chill creeps up on us!
So what’s the deal with footed onesies in a baby carrier??
If they are too tight they can affect baby’s circulation (and they already have an immature system).
They also can activate a baby’s stepping reflex which means that it’s harder to get them into an optimal ‘M’ position. Imagine planking and leg straightening!
If you are wrapping or using a ring sling, they can also pop their seat 🤦♀️
To make wearing easier and more comfortable here are a few options 👇
1. Go up a size AND/OR pull fabric from thigh to toes to create more space.
2. Change or choose non-footed onesies. This allows you to also monitor their circulation.
3. Choose pants and socks for warmth.
And enjoy those babywearing snuggles 🥰
