I’M FREE !!! 🤩✋
Looks a bit weird and the stiffness pain is way worse than the actual injury 😩
Not looking forward to rehab.. but I’ve done it before and I can do it again!! 💪
Bring on the progress and washing my hair!! 🥳👏
❌REHABILITATION EXERCISES SUCK! But if you don’t do them and push through it, it’s very likely that injury could give u grief for a lifetime. ❌

Got through my “ease my way in week”!
Definitely not my normal self but good to be back amongst it! 😂💪
Thanks to everyone for so much love, support and concern! 🥰
I really felt the love, and what I loved the most was everyone needing to rack and unrack their own weights! Some of you didn’t even have any idea where things went or came from 🤔🤣
Special thanks to Sarah for my cute gift bag with perfectly labelled bath salts, definitely my type of lingo. 🥰😂
And Katie for my yummy homemade pumpkin soup! 🥣
Back to a normal 40 session week next week! 😱
The show must go on, Let’s go! 💃

The best photos are the homework photos! 🥰🤳🏽
Maree impressed me last night when she went in and did her “cardio workout” by herself.
6 km on the treadmill followed by 20 MINUTES on the POWERMILL!! 😱🥳
Great job Maree! Looking forward to getting you back on track 💪👏

FIRST DAY BACK!
Thanks for all the love 🥰🥳💪

My first proper walk yesterday since “the incident”.
Feels good to move my body again and be outside, however because I’ve been so sedentary for 3 weeks the walk felt very different to what I’m used to:
❌Tight hip flexors
❌Tight hamstrings
❌Tight lower back
❌Ankle instability and mobility
❌Weakened core
❌Upper back and neck tightness due to over compensating for the ribs
❌Loss of cardiovascular fitness and lung capacity
❌Crunchy knee soreness
All this in such a short amount of time. I’ve kept up with all my sups and tried to do stretching where I can but I definitely feel the difference.
If you have a job where you sit down all day or you have a very sedentary lifestyle, it’s no wonder that you most likely will experience some of the symptoms on this list.
It is IMPERATIVE that we stay active, move our bodies and compensate for long periods of inactivity. 🪑👩💻🤸♀️
Having a great strength and mobility program can really transform how your body feels in your day to day life.
Nothing makes me feel better than being out in nature with my furry bestie 🥰🐶🐴

So I’m finally up to writing a bit of a post after my unfortunate accident over a week and a half ago, where I had a stack and broke my wrist and a couple of ribs on the opposite side. 😩
I’ve been told about the pain of rib injuries and I can say for a fact now that it’s no understatement!!
It’s literally prevented me from doing almost everything, every move, every cough, sneeze and even breath has been excruciating.
Heading out of week 2 recovery now the sharp debilitating pain has subsided and I’m a little more mobile.🤩🥹
Clean break of my wrist has also informed me that hopefully it will heal nicely in a relatively short time of 4 weeks. 🤕
I was feeling pretty down for a bit, as it’s put a complete pause on every aspect of my life.
No work, no income, no training and not being able to get around independently through out my day to day life.
But then I realised how grateful I am.
For all the things that my body does for me every single day. Being able to exercise and do the things I’ve been able to do is a privilege that I try not to take for granted, but I do. 🥹
I’ve been training pretty hard this year, building back some muscle and working on my endurance fitness and mobility, so I was devastated that I’m potentially going to loose a lot of that during my recovery.
However if I hadn’t of done all that work and had been training for most of my life, I can guarantee that my injuries and my recovery time would be A-LOT worse.
Considering I have “above average bone density”
I was surprised a fall like that could still do this much damage.
This reinforces in me even more the importance of strength training as we get older, and makes me even more determined to keep my body, and my clients bodies, in good condition.
I am also missing my clients so much!! And I feel terrible for not being there for them!! 😩
Good on most of you for going in on your own and doing your programs and workouts, I’m super impressed!!
Thank you to everyone who has sent me lovely messages, photos and gifts with well wishes and love, And for your loyalty and support! 🥰🙌
Special shout out to Margie and Alex who sent me a little photo frame of our precious Gym Dead Bug to cherish, that made my day 🤣🤩
Sooo onward and upward! I’ll be back soon enough to start again on my training goals and get my clients back on track! 🏃♀️🏋️♀️
No matter what happens you never quit, you just start again and keep going.💪

Peow Peow!!
The American actor is still going strong. Not because he has to — but because he refuses to stop.💪

Guess who’s the trainer and who’s the client in these photos?? 🤔
Sue (in her late 60s) has been chipping away at her 15min bike warm up for YEARS now and she’s finally BEAT ME! And not just by a little bit 😤🤣👏
The misconception about Personal trainers/ coaches is that they should be fitter, leaner and stronger than you. That doesn’t necessarily make them a “good coach”.
A good coach is someone who is well educated in the field, who keeps up to date with the latest industry trends and research and who can develop realistic individual goals, programs and nutrition plans for their client. And supports them in a passionate, judgement free environment with encouragement and understanding.
Someone who has Industry experience, and also has experience with their own training/ fitness/ strength and dieting depending on their chosen lane and knows how to stay in their lane.
This is something I pride myself on. 🥰
I love it when my clients achieve something that they think I would just be better at just because I’m a trainer. 🤩
Well done Sue I’m seriously impressed, you
OUT TRAINED THE TRAINER!!
(But make no mistake I’ll beat you on the treadmill any day) 🤣
