The official event was hosted by The Hon. Milton Dick MP , and made even more memorable with an exclusive tour of the Speaker’s Office and official dining room.

In just three years, The WattleNest has grown from a passionate idea into a powerful movement, now supporting more than 160 athletes across 50+ sports. Together, we’ve invested over $1 million directly into athlete development, connection programs, and real opportunity pathways.

But this is only the beginning.

With Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games on the horizon, we have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to ensure no athlete is left behind — regardless of background, postcode, or financial circumstances.
