Adding BFR to strength training has been shown to significantly increase the body's natural levels of anabolic hormones. Growth hormone in particular is one of them.

This video will show you how simple it is to do and there is an upper and lower body option as well.

Upper body session:
1 Tricep Extension
2 Bicep Curl

Lower body session:
1 Leg Extension
2 Hamstring Leg Curl

Reps: Set 1 = 30reps, Set 2&3 = to fatigue
Load = 30% 1RM
Rest = 30sec rest b/n exercises
Continuous pressure

It's pretty simple and that's the great thing about BFR training.

Endocrine responses to upper-and lower-limb resistance exercises with blood flow restriction. Madarame et al (2010). Acta Physiologica Hungarica,

In this study, not only was there increases in Growth Hormone but also Testosterone & Insulin Growth Factor-1 which are anabolic hormones markers of muscle growth but also essential for body function as we age.

I cover these hormones in more detail on my podcast, BFR Radio so make sure you check it out.

If you're interested in exploring this further you can purchase your own set of BFR cuffs through my website (link in bio) and if you want ideas on how to tailor it to your own needs send me a DM.
