We are still recovering from all of the emotions of Saturday night. ✨

What a truly spectacular evening!

To say we are proud of our dancers is an understatement. They performed with such professionalism, confidence and maturity, showcasing a level of technical and artistic skill far beyond their years. Watching them take to the stage and bring these works to life was an incredibly proud moment. ❤️

And what an experience it was to collaborate with such incredible musicians. When the arts come together, something truly magical happens — and being able to experience our dancers performing alongside live musicians was something we will never forget. 🎶✨

We will be forever grateful for the opportunity to perform as part of the Newcastle Music Festival and to share our dancers, our choreography and our passion with such a wonderful audience.

And this is only the beginning… 👀✨
There are some very exciting opportunities on the horizon for our dancers, and we cannot wait to share what’s next.

Watch this space… ❤️

✨ LAST NIGHT WAS EPIC ✨

Last night, our musicians and dancers finally came together in the studio… and WOW. 🔥

The music sounded incredible, the feet were on fire, and the vibe was absolutely electric! 🎶✨

What an incredible opportunity for our dancers to experience what it’s like to dance alongside live musicians — something very few young dancers get the chance to experience, and an opportunity we are so incredibly proud to be able to offer right here in Newcastle. ❤️

There was something truly magical about hearing the music come alive in the room and watching our dancers respond to it in real time.

We cannot WAIT to see them take this experience to the stage tonight! 🎭✨

When the museum lights go out, the fossils come to life… 🦴✨

At midnight in the museum hall,
The fossils gathered for a ball.
There were no drums or saxophones,
But just the clatter of their bones,
A rolling, rattling, carefree circus
Of mammoth polkas and mazurkas.
Pterodactyls and brontosauruses
Sang ghostly prehistoric choruses.
Amid the mastodonic wassail,
I caught the eye of one small fossil.
Cheer up, sad world, he said, and winked.
It’s kind of fun to be extinct.

A chorus of brays echoes across the plains…🫏✨

Have ever you harked to the jackass wild
Which scientists call the onager?
It sounds like the laugh of an idiot child
Or a hepcat on a harmoniger.
But do not sneer at the jackass wild,
There is method in his heehaw,
For with maidenly blush and accent mild,
The jenny-ass answers, shee-haw.

The barnyard is alive with chatter, feathers, and a little mischief… 🐓✨

The rooster is a roistering hoodlum,
His battle cry is cock-a-doodlum.
Hands in pockets, cap over eye,
He whistles at pullets passing by.

Listen closely… the Cuckoo is calling. 🐦✨

Cuckoos lead bohemian lives,
They fail as husbands and as wives.
Therefore, they cynically disparage
Everybody else’s marriage.

Black. White. Jazz.

Every line, every shape, every pause is inspired by the rhythm of Dave Brubeck, performed live on two grand pianos.

Points on Jazz explores the meeting of music and movement through a chic blend of jazz and ballet—where precision meets playfulness, and every note is brought to life through dance.

A few moments from a work we’re incredibly proud to share. 🖤🤍
